Brihaspati-targeted SEVA Beneficiaries of Guru-focused seva include teachers, preachers, professors, high-priests, those engaged with sacred doctrine, philosophers, guru-figures, theorists, catechists, and university folks. Seva which supports international education, global humanistic policies, world travel, and proliferation of philosophical viewpoints is likely to yield higher wisdom during periods of Guru. Example for Simha-3 Guru + Mangala + Rahu in Simha-3 Simha containing high-energy graha is excited, ambitious, and politicized. Bhava-3 indicates writing skills that are explanatory, descriptive, and inspiring. Consider donations of your time and creative intelligence toward political action concerns, especially those that are multi-ethnic [Rahu] and physically active [Mangala]. Charitable service is often a benefit of Guru bhukti, which are generous, inclusive, and compassionate by character.Acts of Charity should not be random but rather very carefully targeted.
Guru's Compassionate action does not entail assumption of responsibility for the results. [Responsibility is a function of Shani.] The purpose of Seva is for the one who is offering to gain wisdom - not to produce any material results.
Next, if one is seeking information about this particular variety of suffering, it may be valuable to observe the beneficiaries as they engage with their misery. Listen to their narrative.
Other remedial and supportive measures appropriate to Guru Mahadasha for some nativities [not Thula and not Makara] the gemstone for Vrihaspati may be applied for purpose of psychic clarification for all nativities, wearing of peach-toned, orange, and golden colored clothing can remind one to develop Guru's generosity in daily life and expand His tolerant, inclusive worldview for all nativities, increase of dharma wisdom via acts of charity and service teaching [paid or volunteer] = very suitable offerings to Professor Guru |
|
Overall results depend upon Brihaspati's rulership empowerments , as counted
Brihaspati's job in the nativity = to carry forward from the Akashic account books, credit from charitable works offered in parallel lives .
During the Guru mahadasha, one's energy trajectory ascends successfully into guidance and patronage roles such as teacher-preacher, father, professor, theorist, ideologue, philosopher, tour-guide, trail-guide, scout-master, master-teacher, guru. Professor Guru is naturally suited to wise , inclusive, philosophical and humanistic roles such as patriarch, patron, pontificator, pope, or high-priestess Throughout its 16 years duration, mahadasha of Guru typically maintains an environment which is overall optimistic, abundant and expansive.
Growth challenges via dusthamsha angle = difficult at first, better with experience, comfortable and pleasing results overall. Effects during the bhukti of graha = located
Guru = bhratru-pati-3 or rogesha-6 [Guru also enemy Budha] : In the overall context of good will and the advance of dharma within the life of the native, also expect some arguments both mental and physical, both internal and external. These can be handled with compassion and intelligence Nevertheless, they must be encountered and managed.
Guru = randhresha-8 or ruler-of-12 : Mesha indriya-lagna * Mesha Chandra Guru =Dharmesha-9 + ruler-of-12 [Although Guru = the teaching lord, expect planned misalignments requiring realignment attention during foreign travel or in sanctuaries.] Urisha indriya-lagna * Vrishabha Chandra and Simha indriya-lagna * Simha Chandra because Guru = randhresha-8 . [Sudden, forced or catastrophic change - but with favorable outcome.] |

Overall, Guru bhukti signify the arrival of a significant teacher-preacher figure within wise, sacred locations. The locations are often determined by the residential bhava of Guru. For example, Guru-12 location would be meditative or imaginative or distant world, whereas Guru-9 would be a classic university setting but Guru-4 would be a local settlement and Guru-3 likely a commercial business. The emphasis is on wisdom and expansion. bhukti of Brihaspati the university-karaka are likely times to complete a tertiary diploma following many [Guru] years of study, particularly if Guru is otherwise associated by rashi or by bhava, and particularly if the native intends to use their knowledge in order to teach. Marriage
Wedding + Sacred Vows + Holy Pledge + Solemn Oath + Covenant + Contractual
Promise + Ceremonial Agreement Any Guru bhukti during any mahadasha may support ceremonial marriage, if Brihaspati activates either the Svamsha or the navamsha-7 AND there occurs a suitable transit of Rahu-Ketu to one of the required axes of the nativity. Marriage avowal completed during a bhukti of Brihaspati especially indicates a fertile mate, aphilosopher, an ideologue, apaternal figure, aprofessor, apatron, apreacher, apriest, avidyari, one whose doctrine of belief is personality-defining, or one well suited to patriarchal roles.
***
Children Guru bhukti of any mahadasha are naturally fertile bhukti which tend to produce children on the basis of Brihaspati's role as a natural putra-putriki karaka without regard to bhava-activating rulerships or other rules. Shani Mahadasha

OM sham shanaishcharaye namah Guru and Shani are mutually neutral graha This pair of power-sharing period rulers generally respect each other's territory and rarely impinge upon each other's agenda. Shani bhukti generally signify adherence to the laws of the social order. Elder folks, seniority, neutrality, patience, and sobriety are favored. Events related to Shani's bhava location, rulership, or karaka functions Maturity, sobriety, authority of Leadership, slowness, retardation, rigidity, Hierarchy, social Class, respect for Age and Accomplishment, seniority, systems Regulation, rule of Law Shani = fixed while Surya = choice. Barriers that are fixed, unyielding, or structural in nature, which seem less capable of offering a choice Shani vikrama-pati

One may be required to accept recognized positions of leadership duty, governance, regulation, systematization, hierarchies, and the maintenance of the legal order. Promotion and obtainment of professional portfolio may be expected.
For maximum results, shani must occupy a supportive angle vis-a-vis Mahadasha-pati Rahuva, and Shani should possess other strengths via bhava-activating rulership, rashi, companion graha, drishti, inter alia.
Marriage
Wedding + Sacred Vows + Holy Pledge + Solemn Oath + Covenant + Contractual
Promise + Ceremonial Agreement Any Shani bhukti during any mahadasha may signal the timing of f ormalization of alliance. Shani must rule either Svamsha or navamsha-7 +++ a suitable transit of Rahu-Ketu must contact one of the required axes of the nativity. Weddings matched to a jarana-karaka Shani bhukti especially indicate an elder, more experienced, or more senior mate. Shani durosha-karaka also suggests union with a hard-working, class-conscious, sober, socially responsible partner who shows respect for law, longevity, and endurance. Niyama-karaka Shani may require weddings that are less the consequence of personal affection and more imposed by societal rules. Shanaicarya Bhagwan may require a marriage to regulate the weight of shared children. Orderly Shani bhukti-pati can signal witnessed vows of sacred ordination such as Holy Orders. The spouses may be marrying as an expression of duty or in conformance with conventional expectations. Shani-timed vows may also signal a heavy governance portfolio that is shared by the partners. Shani-timed events often carry the weight of pressing material-social obligations. Special notes for Shani-timed marriage When Shani activates the 1-7 navamsha axis, the lifeplan features an orderly expectation of negotiated contracts. Shani imposes pressure to form a partnership according to the conventions of the social order. Shani disfavors romantic love, poetic ideals, and creative entitlement. For partners older than age 36, the alliance may elegantly align personal material goals with dignified social standing. Benefits of Shani-timed marriage may include loyalty to the contract and longevity of the working pair. Conventional expectations regarding division of labor within the union must be scrupulously maintained, particularly with regard to social class, age, position in the hierarchy, caste, and rank. For one possessed of mature, realistic, and sober character, who is able to accept the weight of social obligation, the agreement may well fulfill the expectations of its many stakeholders, including parents, extended family, ethnic group, and faith community. Shani suggests a likelihood that one partner is significantly elder to the other. Matters of law, hierarchy, and social consequences are often involved.

Guru Mahadasha + + Ketu bhukti
What to Expect during a Ketu Bhukti ? Evaluate the placements of Ketu. \ Consider
Are the Mahadasha-pati and the bhukti-pati mutually friendly?
|
AUM kem ketave namah OM shram shreem shroum sah ketave namah Generally, Vimshottari bhukti of Professor Ketu are scheduled for the purpose of release and forgiveness. The substance, idea, person, relationship, entity, or social role that is surrendered during the Ketu bhukti = by definition spiritually unnecessary. It has outlived its usefulness and it has lost its vitality Maintaining this enervated phenomenon [whatever it is] is costing too much energy within the life system. Thus it is scheduled for release at the appointed time. Examples of things to be released include
Apathetic Ketu = the dried and lifeless tail of passionate Rahu. Headless Ketu flutters in the ethers like a flag in the wind. Therefore, Ketu bhukti = often associated with the cutting-off of some desiccated appendage. Along with Professor Mangala, Ketu is the co-ruler of transformative randhra-bhava-8. After releasing the unnecessary form, one often begins a path toward rejuvenation. Ketu is not desired by Rahu. Feelings of emptiness and rejection. Before fully realizing that the Desired One no longer matches the authentic spiritual body, Ketu bhukti may produce a vain hope for connection with an unavailable or inappropriate person, social role, idea, or object. An apparently hopeless situation may produce Ketu despair
Before the realization of the need to release the attachment, even knowing that the desire is lifeless, one may experience the illusion of connection which dissipates into fantasy, naumbness, or distraction. Desires are dispersed into " echo" awareness that one is not desired by the object of affection. This is merely an echo of one's own higher consciousness signaling that this Object is no longer suitably connected to oneself. Although in other lives and other realities the Object may have been a vital companion, separation now cuts the former link [Ketu]. The barest vestige of a faded connection Professor Ketu often induces a feeling of attempted reconnection with a person, place, thing, or idea that was significant in a previous life or in a distant phase of the present life. However, the attachment is vestigial, no longer part of the vital script of the true present identity. Thus, connection is often unsustainable for reasons of spirit. The reasons of spirit often have more tangible echoes in reasons of social class attributes, reasons of knowledge lineage, reasons of ethnicity or race, reasons of doctrine, and other formal rationale. The definitive reason for the non-connection experience of Ketu = one sees the object of attachment in a distant mirror, as a mere reflection of an already completed script. The object, for its part, will generally not allow the native to make more than a temporary and superficial connection to itself. Collapsing Ketu resides in the emotionally-motivated, traditional, lineage-preserving, acquisitive, historical [2nd-from-Chandra] Events related to Ketu's chidrakaraka function or bhava-activating Ketu's ruler
Marriage
Wedding + Sacred Vows + Holy Pledge + Solemn Oath + Covenant + Contractual
Promise + Ceremonial Agreement Professor Ketu is teaching a curriculum that focuses upon topics of impermanence, severance, amputation, abandonment, wandering, windiness, disemburdenment, and surrender. Naturally Ketu bhukti upport psycho-spiritual opening of awareness and egoic-mind dissolving projects. Normally, the purpose of marriage is to establish a permanent and fruitful bond of mutual trust. Therefore marriage avowal during Ketu bhukti is rare and unusual. A marriage ceremony performed during Ketu bhukti may remain unconsummated. The spouse disappears either literally or figuratively, or the behavior of the spouse is exceptionally eccentric. Much depends on Ketu's ruler and upon any graha which may share a rashi with Professor Ketu. Maraka Agency for Professor Exit Opening for Demagnetization of the Earthen-body When Ketu the Releaser = ruled by a graha which itself rules classroom-2 or classroom-7, Ketu becomes a potential marana-karaka. Maraka teachings include saturation of sense-experience [2] + balanced completion of the life contract [7] . Collapsing Ketu also has, independent of His planetary ruler, the individual chidra-kakara agency of a beheader, cord-cutter, incisor, shredder, slicer, and amputator. Therefore, any Learning Pathway of dissociative Ketu can potentially catter the material-world forms. Those left behind - who continue to materially limit their understanding- may perceive Ketu's molecular dispersal as a physical death. However, it is merely a grand act of recycling. Ketu chidra-karaka = The Cutter

What to Expect during a bhukti of Comfort-seeking Chandra? Evaluate the placements of Chandra . Consider

SEVA FOR CHANDRA Seat of Mind * Mens * Moon * feelings * emotional flow During Vimshottari periods of Chandra, sEVA may be offered to the oceans, to mothers-and-children, to charitable organizations that serve young families, and to groups which praise manifestations of the Holy Mother. Seva offered to mothers, schoolteachers, caretakers, gardeners, fisherwomen, and guardians of the land-and-waters can yield a vastly more effective spiritual healing than any Pearl. Worship of the Divine Feminine can be found in all of the world's great religious traditions. AUM som somaya namah AUM hreem shreem chandraya namah General characteristics of a Chandra bhukti An era of amplified feelings for home and homeland. One may seek residence near the ocean shores, or shipbound. Retreat to safety and a secure routine. Typically, chandra bhukti mark times of quiet retreat, ideally near the ocean. Emotional relationships are psychically sensitive and care-taking. Emphasis on domestic routines, food and nurturing, caring for and serving others, staying close to home. Chandra is the garha-karaka for household life. Promoting the experience of familiar, rhythmic, routines and sheltered security Professor Chandra nearly always maintains some degree of comfort. Yet, the outcome depends significantly upon the angle between citti-karaka Guru agent of widely expansive understanding versus matri-karaka Chandra agent of ancestral deep roots. Any angle of Chandra may produce heightened feelings of patriotism, self-defense, attachment to parents, love of the land, need for comfortable rhythms and routines, need for security. Calming Chandra signifies protection, compassion, nourishment
Generally, expect an increase in the experiences associated with Chandra such as deeper emotional sensitivity, engagement with matters of security and stability, cultural tap-roots, foundational education, patriotism, defense of national-ethnic boundaries and fenced lands, as well as matters of the mother and her folk. The specific outcome of any Chandra bhukti depends upon the bhava-activating rulerships held by Chandra as measured from both the indriya-lagna and the Chandra-lagna. Outcomes are also affected by drishti entering Chandra, by the role of Chandra's planetary ruler, and very importantly by the bhava in which Chandra resides. Soothing Somana is so sensitive psycho-emotionally that Chandra bhukti outcomes are also particularly influenced by transits of Rahu-Ketu or transits of Shani. In Guru-Chandra bhukti, localist Professor Chandra seeks shelter from sudden changes and insecurity along Brihaspati's path of dogma, doctrine, philosophy, theory, first principles, and globalist humanism.

What to Expect during a bhukti of Muscular Moving Mangala? Evaluate the placements of Mangala. Consider
Competitive Kuja has matured ? Brihaspati Mahadasha-pati ++ Mangala bhukti-pati = mutually friendly?
Mangala-targeted SEVa Celebrate Kuja Colors. While offering Seva and in all activities, throughout any Mangala bhukti, honor Martial Mangala by wearing blood-red and black garments, gold ornaments, and by vigorous exercising the movement-seeking physical body.Mangala seva = movement Conscious service is a fabulous learning tool. The knowledge revealed within this learning pathway is tightly focused upon one's own planetary placement. By observing its operational patterns in the lives of others, one may gain swift insight into one's own situation. Using the added wisdom gained through Seva, change one's own narrative consciously. As a learning tool, aremediation, and a mitigant, seva can be much more effective than ratna, puja, or any other upaya. Targeted Seva can alleviate the violence of Kuja''s unconsciously dominating competitiveness by dynamically promoting the well-being of the Mangala people. Service for Masculine Pushing Energies During Mangala bhukti, intentional Seva may focus upon charitable service dedicated to Mangala-figures in any gender, such as athletes, activists, competitors, warriors, military, diggers, divers, plumbers, drillers, explorers, inventors, detectives, interventionists, pioneers, and champions. Mangala prefers to work on a physical level. Service offered to the beneficiaries of the Mangala-Seva should involve physical activity that is sporting, challenging, thrusting, penetrating, and forward-directed. For example, leading science students in vigorous outdoor fieldwork exploration is a Mangala-seva. Discovery Exploration Pursuit Mangala-seva helps those who pursue discoveries. Revealers of newness can be Mangala agents, such as therapists revealing buried trauma, archeologists revealing ancient worlds, defense attorneys revealing facts of the crime, research scientists revealing unseen patterns, or forensic coroners revealing conditions of decease. Mangala seva can be offered to assist any agent who is pro-actively pushing toward a discovery goal. Example for Mangala-Kanya = skilled volunteering or fundraising for legal investigations supporting those falsely convicted of crimes. Recognition for offering Seva? Seva beneficiaries might not express any gratitude for your aid. That is OK. Seva is not intended to produce applause or material rewards. If pursued for the sole purpose of social validation, proving one's noble character, or making a public display of holy virtue, seva tends to backfire. Offer seva not for reason of improving another person, but rather as a method of self-learning about the energy of this grahar. |

QUOTATION from B.V. Raman, Autobiography of a Vedic Astrologer , p. 99-100 " It has been my experience over nearly sixty years that Rahu as sub-lord, whether in his own bhukti or in the bhukti of other planets, would always create problems of a serious nature, affecting family and personal matters, which would Test the mental and physical stamina of an individual whatever be his social, educational, or financial attainments.
There are of course exceptions which I will discuss in due course..." [end quote] |

Guru Mahadasha + + Rāhu bhukti
What to expect from a Rahu bhukti? Evaluate the placements of Rahu. Consider
Risk-seeking Rahu the bhukti-pati has matured? [Age 48] Mahadasha-pati Guru and Rahuva the bhukti-pati are mutually friendly?
Now, consider each of these factors again with reference to Rahu's ruler . Rahu gives BOTH effects of His occupied bhava AND effects of the bhava which are ruled by His planetary rulerr.
SEVA FOR RAHU Ministries of service offered to Mix-Master Rahu may include beneficiaries who have exotic, culturally mixed, smoky-oily, or light-speckled qualities. Shimmering Rahu is honored by Seva to those considered outsiders, considered magical but perhaps dangerous, considered masters of illusion, considered as dark foreigners, considered related to oils, gasses, or grease. Roguish Rahu appreciates the risk-takers, the over-reaching, the opportunists, the ambitious, the boundary-breaching, the cultural-mixers, the pretenders, the impostors, the grandiose, the fascinating, the marvelous, and those colored in many shades of dark purple or brown. Extraordinary Rahu appreciates philanthropic donations to communities of mixed ethnicity, ethnoreligion, those who hold multiple passports, organizations the serve immigrants learning new languages and customs while keeping the old traditions too, and those who produce marvelous displays that disappear into a puff of smoke. Over-reaching Rahu accepts offerings of oils, incense, fireworks, and exaggerated imagery such as theatrical masks. Also consider to donate in charity, camouflage clothing, mechanisms of inflation or amplification such as sound-speakers, magic tricks, cosmetics, generators of illusion such as theatrical stage equipment, and entrancing images such as weeping statues and doctored photographs. Gospel of Matthew 7:6 [KJV] " Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."

AUM ram ravahe namah OM bhram bhreem bhroum sah rahave namah Ever-expanding Excitements leading predictive factors
chidra-dasha - Final Bhukti of the 16-year Guru Mahadasha The Grande Finale represents the end of Brihaspati's development potential, permissiveness, and capacity for expansion. Coming next will be Shani's regime with its characteristic coldness, pragmatism, restriction, discipline, elegance, austerity, and focus on enduring structure. To clear the way for Shani's incoming regime, some exciting demolition is typically experienced regarding matters of Rahu's bhava of residence. Normally, the Guru-Rahu bhukti is somewhat explosive in nature. Like exploding gas, it goes out with a bang . The final bhukti requires return of unusable energies, cutting-off, severance, release, forgiveness. Final bhukti of any mahadasha is time to wind down, relax, and release. Remedial Seva to relieve the [pressure of ignorance may be offered to Rahu-ambitious folk. Seva examples may include counseling support for those deranged by desires . Beware the Opportunistic Rahu-mind operating the chidra-dasha Tired Body. Wild-card candidate = Dark Horse [Rahu] Leader in a desperate time चिद्रदश = cut-cut-cut
Usually on the chopping block are vestigial attachments which are dried-out and have been outgrown. [Rahu Chidra-dasha] endures for 29 months. There is abundant time for multiple iterations of the core theme to unfold, in order to ensure that the Learning Curriculum entitled / mbitious stop-starts / is sufficiently understood. Rahu's ruler determines the specific items to be cut. Professor Rahu being the master of illusion, keep in mind that the cuts are not final. The cuts are not really even cuts. When He is the chidra-dasha-pati, rahu gives the fascinating appearance of endings, closures, forgiveness. However in His true nature, rahu is always seeking the next exciting opportunity. Therefore, be ready for thrilling potentials to arrive in the guise of exhausted defeat. Apparent endings are likely to mask ambitious beginnings. Rahu rushes into power vacuums. Apparent loss provides a shimmering illusion to disguise a brilliant chance. if Rahu's ruler is Surya,
if Rahu's ruler is Chandra,
if Rahu's ruler is Mangala,
if Rahu's ruler is Budha,
if Rahu's ruler is Brihaspati,
if Rahu's ruler is Shukra,
if Rahu's ruler is Shani,
Is the [chidra-dasha of Over-Reaching Rahu] a time of catastrophic loss and devastation? No, not at all. Chidra-dasha only cuts from the vital tree those few, old dried branches which had outlived their educational purpose. It is an intentional pruning. What gets released are completed learning tasks which have already fully satisfied the mastery requirement on those topics for the current incarnation. The Chidra-dasha advances one's positive evolution and growth of understanding. This pruning is very beneficial for the health of the living tree. The Cut is not an unrecoverable loss. Under the regime of Rahu, amask of illusion covers the apparent loss. Beneath the disguise, clever opportunities may be present. Anything that is still necessary, still flowing with life-force, still juicy - lively things - will be retained, not cut. Only the debris remaining after 16 years of Guru-learning, and completed homework, are scheduled to be swept away. Mastery of the learning curriculum of Guru Mahadasha has been achieved! Let go now of old assignments, old projects, old research. You have passed the Guru Mahadasha mastery exam! A spacious uncluttered environment can greatly assist the student in taking advantage of the new Learning Pathway offered by the upcoming hierarchical architectural lawful Shani Mahadasha. Results of Guru-Rahu chidra-dasha depend substantially upon the bhava ++ ruler of Professor Rahu. Despite being the chidra-dasha, if Professor Rahu is empowered and especially if Rahu receives drishti of Guru, there may be amplified results for the typical Rahu-MixMaster undertakings such as doctrinal-social-racial-cultural mixing.
Over-reaching Rahu = an instrumentalist taboo-breaker and irregular opportunist. [Rahu-Meena] -- [Rahu in bhava-9] ideologies
Challenging the Odds [Rahu-Vṛścika] -- [Rahu in bhava-12] [Jyeṣṭha-Shukra-yuti-Rahu-Maitra] -- Shukra rules 6 + 11
Surprise Success = Exotic, Unorthodox, Unconventional, fabulous If roguish Rahu sees an opportunity to gain His social-material objectives during the Guru-Rahu bhukti, and the supporting situation of transits and behavior of risk-rewarding Rahu's ruler are cooperating, then the Guru-Rahu bhukti can produce remarkable outcomes.
Rahu's bhava indicates the location of the fascinating, rule-breaking excitement. Rahu-9 = fascinations of theory, ideology, philosophy, sacred principles, paradigms of belief, doctrinal catechism Guru-Rahu bhukti introduces Rahu-agents who operate under the disguise of patrons, father-figures, and paternalistic preacher-teachers. They seem wise. These agents may promise to guide the native into doctrinally principled or theoretically coherent, multiplying, expansion-and-abundance centered lifestyles. The Rahu agents may serve as impostors who mimic the father-figure, demonstrating a mesmerizing ability to solve every problem via shepherd-like pastoral guidance [Guru] to those seeking fulfillment of expectations. Rahu's bhava indicates the location of the fascinating, rule-breaking excitement. Rahu-9 political ideology, politics
The chidra-dasha of each Mahadasha is specifically designed as a time to let go of unfulfilled expectations and forgive unpayable debts. It is the designated time to permit people and situations which have not borne their expected fruits to be released on their own cognizance. The chidra-dasha should be a time of freeing the slaves, waving goodbye to unworkable plans and promises which did not mature, and lightening the load of outdated expectations. By using the chidra-dasha bhukti to off-load unnecessary grievances, eradicate excess guilt, and be disemburdened of antiquated ideas, one can enter the forthcoming challenges of the Shani mahadasha with no excess baggage, feeling lean and mean. Yet Rahu the Rogue, anurakti-karaka representing the love passions, instills a craving for sensual affections mixed with ambition for higher social privilege and upward social mobility. It can be a recipe for the scheming, passionate, often impulsive, desire-driven marriage commitment which is nearly always short-lived yet not to be criticized. Such a union may be an instrumental feature upon the incarnational path. If the desires enflame during Guru-Rahu bhukti and a wedding seems " desirable" then Professor Rahu will each His curriculum in the classroom of marriage. Shri Rahuva by His nature cannot stop. At the end of any other mahadasha it is easy to see a natural stopping place. At the end of Budha Mahadasha, abhukti of Shani implies scarcer resources, stiffness, cold, and slowed movement. One stutters to a stop, drained of fuel. Budha-Shani bhukti often strips-down the lifestyle to a bare skeleton. Ketu mahadasha ends with the Ketu-Budha bhukti which is not necessarily slow or depressed like Shani but rather utterly neutral with no commitments words are birds . Similarly at the end of a two-decade Shukra Mahadasha, abhukti of chidra-karaka Ketu scatters the attachment to form, guillotines the head of the main agents in one's life, and deconstructs reality in a fundamental way by spinning up a whirling dust-cloud of inchoate matter. Shukra's bargaining stops as partnership loses material meaning. Even the briefer Mahadasha of Mangala concludes in a pattern of routine-rhythmic Chandra-bhukti providing no-progress-only-repeats. Self-reflexive Surya Mahadasha ends with a decentralized bhukti of other-focused Shukra. So, normally, there is a clear signal to stop, unload, forgive at the end of each mahadasha. The salient exception to this easy-to-identify, mahadasha-end cycle of debriefing, summarizing, and off-loading is the Guru-Rahu chidra-dasha. This bhukti carries the unique potential for ambitious, exciting Professor Rahu to escalate a waning project or relationship into the realm of higher voltage, greater aspiration, amplified expectations. While observers may comment that investing resources into an outdated, unsupported, fading prospect is an example of throwing pearls before swine, one may be mesmerized by the Rahu agent. Evaluate Rahu's characteristics to identify the Rahu agent. While in company of the Rahu agent, one may indeed self-elevate into the higher rank and its privileges of the Guru-oriented abundant self-multiplying world of philosophical, theoretical, or doctrinal pursuits However, toward the end of the Rahu bhukti it may become more obvious that most of the Rahu agent's claims are mere punditry . Rahu may introduce an irregular guru whose teachings are fascinating but deceptive, illusory, or fraudulent. One may experience the chidra-dasha as a rather delicate state in which one feels over-extended [Rahu]. While progressing through the Guru-Rahu chidra-dasha , one may experience an odd combination of exhilaration [Rahuva] and disconnection [chidra] . Any final bhukti of any mahadasha imbues the emotional body with a sense of completion. Looking back over 16 years of Guru's expansion, one may feel tired from the expansive fertility of it all * especially if Brihaspati = dhanapati-2, vikrama-pati-3, rogesha-6 , or maraka rules-7. Ambitious Professor Rahu by His nature stimulates the desire for more and higher privilege. Thus Rogue-Rahu's quest for prestige in matters of the bhava occupied by Rahu may be fueled in a crazy-tired sort of frenzy. Rahu often exhibits compulsive camouflaging and pretending to continue to have enthusiasm for new opportunities, even while inside one is really quite tired and seeking a restorative break. EXAMPLE [Rahu-in-Mithuna] -- [Rahu in bhava-11] Moneyball 1963- drama-commerce Brad Pitt
Special considerations for Rank-and-Status Raise during the chidra-dasha The closure-and-completion signification of the chidra-dasha does not alter the benefits of public honors bestowed during the chidra-dasha. Yet, the promotion in rank that may be obtained during this final bhukti may signify the end of a bhukti of respected accomplishments rather than the beginning of a new era of public responsibilities. Typically, the titles bestowed during a chidra-dasha social promotion are honorific and summative in nature rather than formative toward the next phase career development. Nevertheless, if Professor Shani is materially strong , the entitlement or authority received even at this time of forgiveness and conclusion may carry forward into the subsequent Mahadasha of Shani. Events related to Rahu's location by bhava, or related to Rahu's ruler Glamorous Upsets of the Social Order, Excitements, thrills, adventures, Unusual Opportunities, sudden Success, Unexpected Collapse, risk-taking, mesmerizing Performance, fascinations, surprises
Marriage
Wedding + Sacred Vows + Holy Pledge + Solemn Oath + Covenant + Contractual
Promise + Ceremonial Agreement Rahu bhukti signal ambition, over-reaching, and expedience. Rahu seeks social mobility. A chidra-dasha closure bhukti is an unusual time to start things. chidra-dasha are more suited to finishing things. Yet, the Themes of forgiveness and release that normally accompany a chidra-dasha do not always manifest in the bhukti of grasping, always-hungry, always-ambitious Rahu The expansive combination of Guru's permissiveness with Rahu's passion for privilege can inspire even the most conventional souls to take a calculated risk. The partners are often quite different in cultural orientation, ethnicity, ethnoreligion, or beliefs [Guru]. To know more about the specific ambitions which often fuel this odd-couple match, check Rahu's rashi-bhava-drishti '++ His angle from Chandra-lagna. Any Rahu bhukti during any mahadasha may support the occurrence of a wedding ceremony, if there occurs simultaneously a suitable transit of Rahu-Ketu contacting one of the required marriage-timing, identity-defining axes of the nativity. Rahu brings boundary-breaching excitement. Yet, the psychic climate is soon to change. The forthcoming 19-year mahadasha of conventionalist Shani may sorely test this union. The qualities of radical Shani + navamsha Shani can determine whether one can simultaneously maintain this mixed [Rahu] alliance while conforming to the conventions, duties, and strictures of the hierarchical social order. Rahu-timed weddings show Rahu-the-Mixmaster at work. Rahu-timed alliance suggests a potentially impulsive but also socially mobile and goal-oriented alliance.
Opportunity Rahu-bhukti = a classic era for impassioned or unorthodox marriage decisions, often in culturally-mixed circumstances which enflame the ambitions of both partners. Entrancing Professor Rahu sees in the partner a mesmerizing opportunity for expedient achievement. The union may be avowed in culturally variant, risky, unusual, over-estimated, impulsive, expedient, deceptive, fascinating, or exotic circumstances due to Professor Rahu's love of mixing it up. Rahu may feel utterly fascinated or even psychologically obsessed with the must-have Other.
Prognosis So long as the partners continue to reach their respective goals through the agency of the union. Rahu-timed avowals may endure.
A door closes - a window opens As the chidra-dasha, Guru-Rahu bhukti is forecast to include themes of closure and completion of Guru's 16-yearMahadasha. Yet this closure may be less interior, less quiet, and less summarizing than the other eight chidra-dasha. No matter the closure significations of the chidra-dasha, any Rahu bhukti is naturally privilege-seeking, expedient, and over-reaching in nature. Rahu never stops striving for cultural excitement, opportunities of boundary-crossing and privilege via over-reaching
Permission for dematerialization [Death] Exit opening for demagnetization of the Earthen-body Shri Rahu is a a natural maraka agent. His bhukti are empowered with Permission to cross shadowy boundaries, and the line between incarnate vs. disincarnate is just such a boundary. Therefore Rahu needs no further justification via His ruler in order to effect a Release. Rahu can also produce the maraka effects of His ruler, or of graha yuti Rahu. For any lagna, rahu's maraka potential is enhanced if Rahu occupies bhava-2 or Rahu occupies bhava-7. Dematerialization marks the End of an Era Renegade Rahu's characteristic recklessness and willingness to take high risks into order to achieve high privileges can under certain circumstances contribute to His involvement with shocking accidental and fatal injuries. As always, the agency of any potential maraka is much constrained by the overall pattern of longevity in the nativity, including the nature of randhrasthāna counted from the Earthen-body birthing indriya-lagna and the emotionally turbulent, perpetually transformative, ttrauma-inducing, discovering, revealing, danger-seeking 8th-from-Chandra.

Q: Hello, I am a follower of your website and my wife has learned a lot form it, iam confused with the following as I have currently running Shukra bhukti under Guru Mahadasha and my Shukra is 2nd from lord of Dasha and Shukra is Yuvati's lord Also Which of the following I should follow more as your website says 2 different things : 45-47 1/2. If Shukra is in a Kendra, trikona, or in the 2nd from the Lord of the Dasha.
48-50. If Shukra is Dhana's, or Yuvati's Lord
A: Namaste, The lines you have copied [45-47 1/2 and 48-50 ] are quotations from Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, the great classic of Jyotishavidya commentary that was transcribed in approximately the era of 550-600 C.E. The original shloka could be vastly older, but the occasion of actually writing down the oral tradition is linguistically dated to approximately 5th-6th century of the Common Era [CE] . The lines are the product of long centuries of Sanskrit metered-chanting, which have recently been rendered into English. These translations follow the rules of Sanskrit prosody not the rules of English prosody. Or they might have gone from Sanskrit into another language such as Hindi, before entering English, so the rendering can sound a bit choppy in English.
These shloka refer to bhava-activating rulership, not bhava occupation . Naturally, if Shukra is the maraka ruling-2 or the maraka ruling-7, shukra's bhukti may contain awareness of opportunities for dematerialization. Saturating Shukra = marana-karaka for Mesha, Kanya, and Vṛścikaindriya-lagna. Shukra = a double-killer for Mesha indriya-lagna. Sensual Shukra = a pleasure-lover, so when Lord Bhrigu becomes aware of the presence of death, He does not welcome this threat of losing the mineral-body's access to sensual pleasures. Thus Shukra feels fear or frustration about death. Sensual Shukra = not a wise graha. Bhrigu is very materialistic and He likes it that way. Sweet-seeking Shukra is Shani's BFF. Shukra does not accept death very gracefully despite His overall graciousness! Death logically gives a loss of material treasury. The basic reality of dematerialization = you can't take it with you. Also., if Shukra = yuvati-pati-7 , seventh = 6th [poverty]-from-2nd, which means that certain set-ups for yuvati-pati-7 Shukra can stimulate "poverty of cintamani * mani * money. 6th-from-2nd. One of the major causes of the native 's experience of poverty of cintamani * mani * money is the agent who spends most of one's capital assets and that is the business partner, attorney, consultant, adviser, or wife - the agents of Yuvati. Antagonism with wife comes from Shukra's capacity as ruler of dhana bhava. bhava-2 is inevitably the 6/8-from-7th.
bhava-2 also rules the mouth.
Here is where you can see the effect of the traditional Sanskrit shloka telegraphic style creating a choppy English output.
Similarly, parashara says -- 45-47 1/2. if Shukra is in a Kendra, trikona, or in the 2nd from the Lord of the Dasha.
This shloka is about graha in occupation of a bhava, not lordship.
If Shukra occupies bhava 1, 5 or 9 then pleasures of children are enhanced.
And so on, with Shukra giving the pleasures derived from accumulation of resources [wealth] and fleshly sensual experience, according to the house in which Shukra lives. On inspection, there is no contradiction in the compilation of BPHS [Chapter 56: Effects of the Antara Dasha in the Dasha of Guru, shloka-4 5-50] WRTShukra. There are however persistent literary translation issues, and regarding these it is best to view with compassion the compilers, the translators, and the readers.
Wishing you and your family every happiness, healing from sorrow,
guidance by inner light, and success in all of life's endeavors,
Sincerely,
