Rahu-Mithuna's Great Leap Forward is chatty and conversational. The typical starting scene is a written or filmed document, such as a movie, book, plan, article, charter or constitution, television or radio announcement, report, photograph, et-cetera.

The Rahu-Mithuna experience begins with some variety of communicative message by writing, sound, or photographic image (according to the bhava) which give publicity to the native either physically, psychologically, or spiritually.

An enunciation of evangelism is required. The environment supports publishing and narrative-development behaviors. The important actors typically hold rank of broadcast media producer, publications director, advertising or marketing specialist, etc.

I am running thru RAhu Maha Dasa and going thru the worst of the situations. I do not even know if I survive in next months before the Rahu- Jupiter period ends in April 2014. Thanks for your kind email. I am happy to know that you are studying the character of Professor Rahu via the method of living through His Mahadasha. As always the very best remedy for any astrological situation is to offer Seva.

The offering of Seva should be targeted specifically to the type of persons who have one's same condition in a slightly worse degree.

For example if one seeks to offer Seva as a method to remediate the negative effects of Rahu Mahadasha, and Professor Rahu occupies the rashi of Mithunaya where Rahula likes to twist and exaggerate the mental narrative, it can be very educational (and corrective) to offer Seva for those who are suffering mental ailments.

These persons may suffer from irrational thinking, they may be hyper-verbal (compulsively chattering) or their description of reality may be over-dramatized and immature (due to Kumara-Budha = adolescent mentality). These persons may be teenagers, or they may be adults who think like teenagers, self-reflexively, without too much awareness of how their narrative compares to the normal adult narrative.

By serving such mentally hyperactive personalities, one may gain important corrective insights into one's own ongoing mental narrative. The most beneficial outcome may be increased awareness of Rahu-Mithunaya's tendency to exaggerate and over-dramatize the life story.

Although such a tendency can be helpful for a professional dramatic script-writer or novelist, it is often a sign of immaturity in adult life and it leads to suffering when one begins to believe one's own inflated story.

Therefore, seva offered to overly mentalized persons can provide a useful compare-and-contrast observation that may lead to self-correction of Rahu's default behaviors.

[Rahu in bhava-2] * passion for treasuries is rarely a killer. Rahu-2 gains no marana capability unless many other conditions apply: such as (1) bhava-8 shows an abbreviated lifespan, (2) the lord of bhava-2 is a marana-graha, and (3) the subperiod of Rahu's ruler occurs during a less benevolent transit of the marana-pati. Even these three conditions may not be adequate to trigger release from this earthly vale. If Shani occupies 8, it may be a long life indeed.
