According to cultural belief, one of the common outcomes of pitri dosha can be a failure to worship the ancestors properly.

Rahu in bhava-2 usually casts some shadow upon the family lineage. Surya-yuti-Rahu in bhava-2 suggests the father's [Surya] family lineage may be questionable. As the American saying goes, rahu Dosha afflicting Surya in bhava-2 indicates " a rooster in the hen-house" meaning that who is named as the father or the father's father is likely an impostor [Rahu].

In modern terms, pitri dosha may be understood as amplified, over-reaching, highly ambitious and expedient-acting father-figures, particularly one's own father but also male authority figures (including self-appointed) of all varieties. Traits of Surya such as willpower, self-confidence, selfishness and charisma are exaggerated in the father-figures' behaviors.

Pitri dosha may also attract self-dramatizing personalities of any gender, self-important politicians, hot-headed fashionistas, and show-boaters. If Surya is ill-placed, expect predatory narcissists as well.

Shadowy Brilliance * barrier-bending, taboo-twisting Genius

Surya-Aurya-yuti-Rahu indicates something "on the edge of the aura" outside the realm of the Light, which is untoward, something illicit [Rahu], something obscured or not quite straightforward that seems to contradict or confuse the purity of the public presentation [Surya].

There is something dark and seductive in the background. It can be a taboo personal relationship, asneaky way of gaining power, or an obsession of some kind. Depending on other factors in the nativity, one may place this obsessive intelligence into operation for the benefit of humankind, or to benefit the family, or to other positive purposes. It need not be unseemly and is often praised.
