Siva_ouroboros.jpg

Purvabhadra refers to the first portion of the "bhadrapada" which is a world of fortunate intelligence. The first portion purva is magically and powerfully airborne while the second portion uttara maintain a fabulous treasury in the watery depths.

In etheric cosmology, the subtle particulate nature of the Earth is considered to be fundamentally composed or fabricated from the rays emitted by seven graha. The system of rays is very complex with many overlays and interweavings.

One of the interlocking systems of rays which travels through the infrastructure established by the rays of these seven graha is the roadway or channel network by which 27 advanced civilizations travel into the Earth along one of the 27 constructed pathways (na-kshatra). Each of these 27 pathways facilitate the bringing of intelligence, awareness, technology, and other gifts into Earth.

In this cosmology, Purvabhadra is a location., From this world emanate beneficent rays of magically intellectualized but also highly spiritualized mentality. From the first portion of the bhadrapada, the airy world of human causative thought is understood to originate. On the boundary between mind and spirit, words are birds; the mind takes flight.

The travellers from Purvabhadra * constellation Pegasus are carried into Earth on their customary channel. Having arrived (instantly, since they are not bound by time) these missionaries and guides then implant their wisdom into the the multiple electro-magnetic grids which surround and interpenetrate the Earth.

Those who are genetically designed to match the energy of Purvabhadra (for example, those born with a lagna or a graha located within Purvabhadra) can then partake of Purvabhadra gifts quite naturally, through the conditions of their birth.

Ruled by Brihaspati, Purvabhadra born human-beings are humanistic philosophers. Their particular genius is Brihaspati-oriented wisdom of expansion, fertility and abundance. Purvabhadra humans can become masters of the art of conceptual thought. They understand at birth"how to transcend the limitations of gravity, how to fly in the world of the mind, how to use the physical mind (recording box) as a stepladder to climb into the spiritual levels ". Thus typically the Purvabhadra native becomes a master of huge mental mindscapes.

Purvabhadra natives are engaged in the advance of civilization and they are all quite confident in their abilities. However these sagacious types are of two different species: pada 1-2-3 the Kumbha portion and pada-4 the Meena type.

Kumbha pada 1-2-3 are scientific systems thinkers who are more attuned to writing about systems and participating in large-scale social-economic movements. They prosper in abstract scientific and conceptual environments. Due to Guru's mulatrikona = bhava-11 Dhanushya, pada 1-2-3 have a particular interest in economic networks, social participation linkage, and community distribution systems, including extraterrestrial connections. Kumbha rashi confers the ability to coordinate with like-minded others via scientific perspective.

Measured from Kumbha lagna, Brihaspati ruling both bhava-2 and bhava-11 produces a dhana-yoga. The natives are typically born into conditions of material wealth and are generally able to obtain funding for their projects throughout life. They are concerned with social values (2) and are inveterate community activists (11) often 'reformers'. The career always models a principled development of leading ideas that are grounded in a coherent theory of rule-governed networks. They are typically of a high order intelligence with great alacrity and clarity of thought. They can be impatient with those suffering thicker mental density.

Overview conceptual-thought agents focused on competitive, athletic, potentially aggressive movement. Develops Makara career climbing the ladder of a governance hierarchy. Often found within institutional government and large corporations, depending on role of radical Shani.

Purvabhadra Pada-2 * Vrishabha Navamsha * Pushkara Navamsha

Overview conceptual-thought agents focused on historical knowledge, material acquisitions, banking, conservation, containment and assessment of value , sensual luxury, and natural beauty. Develops Kumbha career in large-scale economic, social, and scientific systems, depending on role of radical Shani. Typically a social scientist or social critic

Purvabhadra Pada-3 * 26:40 Kumbha 30:00 * Mithunaya navamsha

Overview conceptual-thought agents focused on explanatory and descriptive communications. Develops Meena careers in intuitive development, divination, esoteric philosophy, psychic and spiritual guidance, and various forms of large-scale teaching, depending on role of radical Guru.

Purvabhadra Pada-4 * 00:00 Meena 03:20 * Karkata navamsha * Pushkara Navamsha

Overview conceptual-thought agents agents focused on establishing settlements, sheltering, agriculture, foundational schooling, caretaking, parochialism, patriotism, and protectiveness. Develops Mesha career * innovative, pioneering, and surging with physical energy, depending on role of radical Mangala.

Meena pada-4 is less oriented to social-material systems and more spiritually inclined. All Purvabhadra energy provides guidance, however Pada-4 guides less by scientific inquiry and more by intuitive imagination.

Pada 1-2-3 generally eschew social leadership positions because they want to explore the world of data-driven theories and principled systems development. For the Meena pada-4 however due to Guru's role as lagnesha and karma-pathi-1, the pada-4 native may undertake leadership roles particularly in spiritually focused social hierarchies. They are often bridge-people who serve as liaisons between the social-economic community and the spiritual communities within material society such as monasteries and convents.

Due to Guru's mulatrikona Dhanushya = bhava-10, Purvabhadra pada-4 can provide a very high-minded executive leadership. Their philosophical principles are of the highest caliber. They are tremendous believers in human potential. They confidently and sincerely espouse enlightened beliefs. pada-4 can produce inspiring insights that provide transcendent guidance for the spirit. In times of social darkness, pada-4 carries a torch of bright vision.

All Purvabhadra folk throughout pada 1-2-3-4 are blessed by a strong conviction that the broad truths are fully represented by their theoretical viewpoint. It is virtually impossible to sway them from their doctrinal position via logical argument from any basis.

Purvabhadra, like Punarvasu and Vishakya, are"born knowing" their truth. They perceive the incarnation as an opportunity to serve others by preaching upon their principles. When frustrated by other's lack of wisdom (particularly as expressed by those playing Budha-style victim roles) the natives of Brihaspati-ruled Purvabhadra, Vishakya and Purvabhadrapada can seem condescending at times.

Guru plays a salient role in the nativity, and Vimshottari periods of Guru bring forth their inner proclivity to fill the roles of teacher, preacher, and sage.

Shakti of the Purva-bhadra-pada nakshatra

commentary by Dennis Harness

"25. Purva Bhadrapada: The Burning Pair

(Aquarius 20 00 to Pisces 03 20 )

The symbols for this unique nakshatra are a sword, the first two legs of a funeral cot, and a two faced man.

  • The sword represents the ability to cut through negativity to get to the truth.
  • The two faced man indicates the ability to see both sides of an issue.

The deity is Aja Ekapada, a one-footed goat that is the vehicle for the fiery god, Agni.

  • The shakti is the power to raise a spiritual person up in life .

This nakshatra is ruled by the benefic Jupiter, which reflects the high idealism of this asterism.

Martin Luther King had his natal Moon in this lunar mansion.

These natives are often successful in the business world due to their manushya, or human temperament, with a primary motivation toward artha, or prosperity."

Shakti of Purvabhadra Nakshatra

commentary by Pdt. David Frawley,

"Aja Ekapat desires, "May I gain radiance and the splendor of spiritual knowledge ." One who makes the appropriate offering to Aja Ekapat, to Purva Bhadra,

  • gains radiance and the splendor of spiritual knowledge.
Purva Bhadra has a great spiritual potential .... It can give even more insight, perception and spiritual fire: that of the soul.
  • It awakens us to our higher spiritual potential and power in life."
