[option-1] śrī = elevated, respected ++ nātha can also = possessions, protections, patronage = one is institutionally commanding

this karma-dharma adhipati-yoga raises the power to command via benefits to karma-sthana. It occurs only for Dhanus-indriya lagna, and only when the Mandator, uchcha-Budha [10] rules both 10 and 10th-from-10 ++ dharma-pati Surya-Kanya occupies karma-sthana also. Predicts peak leadership ability via communication [Budha] and charisma [Surya]

[option-2] śrī = wife; nātha = husband = the Learning Plan requires prosperous and well-protected conditions.

this general sukha-yoga predicts material prosperity and the wisdom to enjoy it graciously. It occurs for any indriya-lagna, when the subha-graha Shukra + Budha + dharma-pati are all situated in their most beneficial locations.

Caution -- Two Different Definitions of this yoga!

श्रीनाथ śrī = respect, elevation, excellence
नाथ nātha = planetary Lords
पति pati = planetary Lords

There are two completely different definitions of śrī-nātha yoga

option-2 for Huru-Shukra = also called Shri-pati Yoga.

Both options produce prominent public leadership figures due to their benevolent planetary Lords = natha, pati

The difference = which Lords are being referenced.

type-1 = Budha-Surya
type-2 = Budha-Shukra

Kama-esware uchasthe, Karma sthāna gathe, swathnuge, karama-adhipe dharma-adhipa yuthe subha-sthāna gathe, sreepathi yogam sambhavam --- akhanda subha-yogadah

[type-1] = [Budha-Surya]

called श्रीपति śrī-pati - or - श्रीनाथ śrī-nātha

Shreenatha or Shripathi = dharma-karma adhi-pati yoga

This Raja Yoga can only occur for Dhanus indriya-lagna when uchcha-Budha-10 YUTI Surya-Kanya-10 both occupy karma-sthana

śrī-pati - or - śrī-nātha [version-1]

= dharma-karma adhi-pati yoga that concentrates corporate or institutional decision-making empowerments into the high-visibility 9-10 zone..

Only uchcha-Budha-10 YUTI Surya-Kanya-10 can create this Raja Yoga

charismatic [Surya] precisely engineered communication [Budha] +++ strengthened by role-modeling and material support from the father [9]

++ karma-pati = uchcha-Budha-10

++ 10th-from-10th ruler yuvati-pati = uchcha-Budha-10

If the exalted lord of the 7th occupies the 10th ,
and the lord of the 10th is with the 9th lord ,

Sreenatha Yoga is caused.

Results.-

the native will have on his body the insignia of Vishnu, viz., the conch, the wheel, etc.
be an agreeable speaker,
godly,
have a good wife and children
and be loved by all.

[BVR] Remarks. -

Sreenatha Yoga may be said to be one of the important Raja Yogas inasmuch as a point of contact is established between the 7th, 9th and 10th houses.

It is held to give rise to power as well as wealth. The lord of the 7th should be invariably exalted in the 10th [Kamesware Karmagate Swatunge] the lord of which, in turn, must be with the 9th lord.

Obviously Sreenatha Yoga can occur only in respect of Sagittarius in which case Mercury, lord of the 7th, could remain exalted in the 10th.

For no other Lagna can the 7th lord remain exalted in the 10th.

Since the original writers have laid emphasis on the fact that the 7th lord should be in the 10th exalted, we have to conclude that the Yoga is a rare one and that it cannot arise with regard to any other sign of the zodiac than Sagittarius.

If the definition could be extended to mean that the exalted 7th lord could also aspect the 10th, then Cancer and Libra could be included. Whether such a departure is permissible, I cannot yet say as the materials at my disposal are too inadequate to admit of a definite opinion."

"Lord of 7th in exaltation in 10th

whilst lords of 9 and 10th are standing in one sign.

Kingly status and great material prosperity."

[type-2 = Budha + Shukra + dharma-pati ]

Phaladeepika says

"The person born in the Srinatha Yoga will be wealthy, resplendent and clever in speaking agreeably and in a humorous vein.

He will have [in his body) marks of God Narayana

[such as Sankha, chakra, etc.) He will be always reciting in company with the virtues the charming verses adorning the name of that God.

He feels very happy in showing reverence towards those that worship that God.

He will be endowed with a good wife and sons.

He will be loved by all and will be exceedingly amiable." [end quote]

[type-2] Srinatha Yoga = Shripati yoga

Shukra, Budha, and the dharmapati = all well-placed.

Results = material treasury and marital pleasures, talent of communication, and appreciation for religious culture.

Shukra must be = uchcha-or-svakshetra + trine-or-kendra
Budha must be = uchcha-or-svakshetra + trine-or-kendra
dharma-pati must be = trine-or-kendra

RULES of Formation

[type-2] Srinatha Yoga = Shripati yoga

Shukra-Urisha + Budha-Mithuna = must be in 4-5 or 9-10

= only for Kumbha indriya-lagna [4-5] or Kanya-indriya-lagna [9-10]

Budha-Kanya + Shukra-Tula must be in 4-5 or 9-10

= only for Mithuna indriya-lagna [4-5] [e.g. Bill Gates] or Makara -indriya-lagna [9-10] [e.g., William Randolph Hearst]

9th-lord must occupy kendra-or-trine

[e.g. Bill Gates has uchcha-Shani-5 dharmesha yuti Shukra-Tula-5]

SHUKRA gives sensual pleasures, sweetness, mutuality, marital cooperation, artistic talent, et-cetera. When Shukra is benevolently placed within the Learning Plan, these purposeful blessings flow easily.

Shukra must reside in a kendra or trine = bhava 1, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10.
Also Shukra must inhabit rashi of Vrishabha or Tula

BUDHA gives facility in communication by word and gesture + quickness of thought and expression skill in handcraft, writing, planning. When Budha is benevolently placed, these blessings flow easily.

Budha must reside in a kendra or trine = bhava 1, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10.
Also Shri Budha must inhabit rashi of Mithuna or Kanya.

DHARMA-PATI ruler of 9-pitri-sthana, provides guidance from the father or from patriarchal ancestors

Generally, bhava-9 indicates personal wisdom and a philosophical understanding of the divine principles which govern human life. When the dharma-pati is well placed, these blessings flow easily.

The dharma-pati must reside in a kendra or trine = bhava 1,4,5,7,9,10.

EXAMPLE

Over-the-top luxuries and spendid homes-carriages [4]. WRH was known and feared as anaggressive uber-capitalist,and intimidating corporate boss. Born into stupendous family affluence, he continued to build and grow the diversified asset hoard inherited from his father [9].

However, [Rohiṇī-Shukra-yuti-Ketu-Rohiṇī] indicates an inability to be satisfied. Toward end-of-life, WRH sharp executive leadership skills began to dwindle, he slid into paranoid dementia, and his own mismanagement caused bankruptcies.

There are two [quite different] Jyotishavidya yoga combinations which unfortunately have the same name = Shree-natha.

Each version can provide outstanding leadership skills

Version-1 based on Budha-Surya gives raja-yoga of empowered executive command and wise guidance of father-figures. Capacity to globalize via wide-scope viewpoint [9] while anchoring [4] institutional guidance roles

In the classic use of the term Shreenatha yoga, as quoted in BPHS and by Shri Raman in 300 Important Combinations, the lord of 7 must be exalted in 10, while the dharma-pati occupies 10.

Within karma-sthana will reside the dharma-pati Surya plus the yuvati-pati Budha signaling attorneys and advisers. It is a combination that predicts principled leadership in the social order, public respect, and high visibility.

Other graha in the nativity may taint the reputation. HHowever, Budha-and-Surya = in a peak position for effective corporate-institutional governance via clear communication and charisma.

BV Raman writes that this definition of Shree-natha yoga is only possible when Dhanus = indriya lagna

[bodily baseline] when uchha-Budha occupies Kanya-10 yuti dharmesha-pati Surya-Kanya-10.

If Uttarāṣāḍha nakshatra = indriya-lagna, results can be quite distinguished in regard to public roles particularly when detailed strategic planning is involved .

Version-2 based on Shukra-Budha + dharmesha = grants pleasure-treasure + wisdom to live well while holding institutional guidance roles.

In this definition, Shukra + Budha + dharmapati must ALL be in peak positions.

In Version-2

Budha must be in svakshetra-or-uchha and occupy a kendra-or-trine
Shukra must be in svakshetra-or-uchha and occupy a kendra-or-trine
dharma-pati must be svakshetra-or-uchha and occupy a kendra-or-trine.

Srinatha Yoga = Shripati yoga = found among entertainers, literary figures, poets, certain types of preachers, et-cetera. ... they express a delightful mix of clear speech, philosophical intelligence, clear and pleasant speech, attractive face, and substantial material assets.

To which version do you refer?
