Shri B.V. Raman writes in A Catechism of Astrology (p 47) that according to the collective called Parashara:
QUOTATION from Dr. G. S. Kapoor,Gems and Astrology (1994)
according to BPHS: "Rahu is exalted in Taurus and Ketu is exalted in Scorpio.
In Light on Relationships, modern Jyotisha writers Hart deFouw and Robert Svoboda state thai
/Rahu might be exalted in Scorpio./
|Furthermore, there is a very well established Dravidian-region tradition thai
Rahu co-owns Kumbha while Ketu co-owns Vṛścika. I follow this tradition.
|Parashara says -- and this designation is widely accepted:
/Rahu = exalted in Vrishabha rashi/
In practice, an [uchcha] Rahu located in bhava 3, 6, 10, or 11 is generally a good predictor of
treasury acquisition from Rahu-type activities:
POTUS-43 Decision Points 1946- George W. Bush= [uchcha] Rahu the Rakshasa = acquisitive Vrishabha in gainful bhava-11
GWB-43 certainly comes from an acquisitive (Vrishabha) family. GWB-43 is exceptionally well connected to oily [Rahu] earnings (11) throughout the global monetary system (11).
Rahu = kamakaraka + Vrishabha = urgent need to self-elevate using economic connections, specifically marketplace income generated from"smoky, oily, gassy" commodities = artha, dhana
as to whether this wealth is gained by criminal activity or affiliation, or by collaboration with persons who operate outside the social norms, Rahu significations may be considered valid.

"Q. 69 Can we have a [nīcha-bhanga] Raja-yoga of Rahu and Ketu?
If we can have nichhabhanga Yoga s for Mars, Saturn and others, I do not see why we should not extend the same to Rahu and Ketu.
Parasara is very clear in declaring that Virgo is to be owned by Rahu and Pisces is to be owned by Ketu.

if Rahu or Ketu occupies a house the lord of which is an auspicious planet in a birth chart
and is well placed in it, Rahu or Ketu will give good results of that planet. [gem...]
In spite of the fact that Rahu and Ketu do not own any signs, they have been treated as full-fledged planets by almost all of our ancient authorities (except Varaha Mihir) and they have held that Rahu and Ketu act differently in different houses of the horoscopes.
According to Phaladeepika , Rahu and Ketu being first class malefics give adverse effects in all houses except the 3rd, 6th and 11th houses . The favourable effects in these three houses have been described as: Rahu in the 3rd, 6th and 11th makes the native honoured, financially privileged and long-lived.
According to Brihat Parashara Hora (translation by Pt. Sita Ram Jha) Rahu is exalted in Taurus and Ketu is exalted in Scorpionis.
According to Laghu Parashari and Uttara Kalamrita , Rahu and Ketu function as Yogakaraka s in a birth chart [...]
[ Laghu Parashari ] According to Dewan Ram Chandra, the famous and learned translator and comment commentator of 'Laghu Parashari', this sloka should be [understood to mean]
[ Uttara Kalamrita]
Even a conjunction of either of these with the lord of a quadrant will prove beneficial.
