MALES

Punarvasu

  • Shil-Ponde (1939) Hindu Astrology Joytisha-Shastra . p 81.

"... from Arudra to Punarvasu, a startling change in mental development.

In Punarvasu, the native is possessed of profound intelligence,

  • capable of delving into and understanding all manner of philosophical and metaphysical postulates.

He revels in abstract thought and has a lively and profound imagination.

He may be also a poet of high attainment, expressing a fire and vitality in his verse

  • which is the result of an unusually passionate temperament.

He will, however, be only moderately successful by world standards during his lifetime

  • although unlike the Arudra native, he will not experience poverty."

"When you are courting a nice girl, an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder, a second seems like an hour. That's relativity." ~~ Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein is generally celebrated as an exemplary expression of genius. By the end of his career Einstein had become a legendary, almost mythical, figure representing the power of mathematics combined with intuition resulting in huge scientific discoveries.

Guru-ruled Punarvasu * Aditya eternal no-limits indivisible within the Mithunaya pada 1-2-3 may produce a wise and charitable teacher who shows that life includes death and good includes evil.

He is framed as an intellectual hero, who plumbed (Kuja) the depths of the unknown (8, secrets) to discover a view of the universe which changed the modern world forever.

Extraordinary public high-visibility leadership roles are much increased by Shani-Guru parivartamsha :

  • parivartamsha exchange of university randhresha-8 + dharmesha-9 Shani with career-ruler yuvatipathi-7 + karmesha-10 Guru

Shani rules 10th navamsha

this remarkable configuration also creates a virtual yogakaraka effect

The same two parivartamsha graha, Shani + Guru, yield an additional virtual yogakaraka in their lordships from Mithuna lagna

Shani = dharmesha-9 from lagna while Guru = karmesha-10 from lagna. In parivartamsha, the auspicious dharma-karma-adhi-pati yoga is invoked while nichha-bhanga Budha and uttama-Zukra join their Professor Guru

From the virtual 10th bhava, Guru casts a virtual drishti upon the otherwise beleaguered nichha L-2 Chandra (karaka for family) and also upon the peculiar Ketu in 2 which allows Einstein a second marriage to his cousin (family) and relatively happy in that, despite the intense Kuja dosha to bhava-2 and her lack of connection (Ketu) to his work.

uttama-Mangala = "double L-12

uttama-Zukra = "double rogesha-6 "

Renowned physicist, poet, theorist, and visionary.

Einstein's scientific, philosophical, and ethical-political thinking helped awaken the much-awaited New Age.

A very public figure with however a very private personality, Albert Einstein had his share of family problems due to nichha-Chandra-6 ruler of bhava-2 family, while Ketu occupies bhava-2 knowledge-lineage-values.

  • He was politically active and outspoken on matters of nuclear war (against) and independent Israel (for).

  • His leadership in the movement to lay a completely new conceptual foundation for modern science has earned him the title Man of the [20th] Century.

  • During childhood, young Einstein was considered autistic and possibly developmentally delayed . He did not speak clearly until the age of nine. He was not a distinguished young student.

  • Einstein was apparently a very holistic thinker whose view of reality was centered in All-One Source consciousness. Perhaps due to his disregard for the (delusional, easily dispersed) boundaries between energy fields, his relationship behavior also displayed relatively loose social boundaries.

  • Perhaps due to his view of All-One Source and certainly exacerbated via Ketu occupies bhava-2 knowledge-lineage-values, as an adult scholar Einstein did not properly attribute his human researcher sources within his academic writings. This negligence (Ketu) earned him the ire of fellow scientists who found him intellectually arrogant and self-reflexive. Fellow theorists who shared their ideas with him but received no recognition for their contributions accused him of illicitly appropriating the ideas of others. Jyeztha Chandra in bhava-6 * crimes and accusations * created and maintained an emotional climate of imbalance-seeking-a-remedy in partnerships throughout his life.

  • uttama-Mangala + risk-Rahu in undisclosed-forbidden-masked bhava-8 plus Jyeztha Chandra in 6. high-permission = neither suffer the restrictive drishti of Shani

Surya

A remarkably prominent, highly visible public career due to mega-watt Surya

karmesha-10 from Chandra occupies the 10th from radical lagna

  • lord of Sahaja bhava-3 (writing), in Meena rashi (contemplation, huge vista)

  • Surya occupies 5th -from-Chandra

  • Ravi accepts no Parashari drishti

Surya Yuti

  1. yuvatipathi-7 +randhresha-8 Shani;

  2. L-1+bandesha-4 Budha

  3. L-5+L-12 Shukra.

bhratrupathi-3 in 10 = public respect due to reports and announcements, especially during the period of Surya. Einstein's scholarly publications are still read carefully for their extraordinarily simple, clear and precise explanations and descriptions.

Chandra

L-2 Vrizchika Jyestha Chandra in bhava-6 = receives no Parashari drishti.

L-2 in 6 = conflict in family lineage (2) and suggests a blood disease for the second wife (2).

Chandra lord of Ketu shows some degree of apathy, wandering, and weak psychic boundaries boundaries within the family. Einstein's family problems are well known.

Yet Ketu in 9th from Chandra suggests wisdom via"no boundaries, no limit on values " thinking. The knowledge treasury although very scattered (2) is also greatly energized via uttama-Mangala drishti into Ketu. The native's association with tremendous explosions is due to the Rahu-Ketu placement of course but Ketu's governor the nichha Chandra is what gives the need (Chandra) to be involved with the massive scale of death enforced during WW-2.

  • Add stress from Ketu in bhava-2, suggesting a fundamental disconnection from family life.

  • Death in period of Rahu-Chandra maraka rules-2

Second marriage:

  • L-2 = nichha Chandra; Ketu in bhava-2

  • Peculiar (Ketu) Second marriageto the child of his mother's sister, (Mrs. Else Einstein). Chandra L-2 occupies ripubhava-6 = 3rd-from-4th, = "mother's siblings, mother's relatives "

Mangala

Viparita Raja Yoga(Harsha Yoga) = rogesha-6 uttama-Kuja-yuti-Rahu occupies randhra-bhava-8

supercharged"double rogesha-6 " Mangala = 6th from Mithunaya lagna and also 6th-from-Chandra.

yuti Rahu in bhava-8 !

= intense and ambitious engagement with the explosive power of w

the pair Kuja-yuti-Rahu receives no Parashari drishti; no constraints upon direct forward movement (Mangala) or desire to self-elevate to higher levels of privilege (Rahu) via conditions of death (8)

Highly conflicted emotionally; brilliant and goal-oriented; destructive and dangerous.

Chandra-Mangala period = extraordinary.

uttama-Kuja-yuti-Rahu = Lord of the Vrizchika navamsha of Radix karmesha-10 Guru

Guru has kendra adhipati dosha. Good outcome eventually but the career starts out poor or obscure, and professional service requires considerable time to give favorable fruit.

rogesha-6 uttama-Kuja in 8 = empowered regarding marriage-dissolving (6) extramarital activities. Kuja is overwhelmingly strong and disruptive amplified by ambitious, transformative, self-entitled Rahu.

  • Einstein is recorded to have told his adopted step-daughter that he conducted 11 extramarital affairs during his second marriage (to the step-daughter's mother).

uttama-amza Kuja-yuti-Rahu = getting one's Exotic (Rahu) ideas into competitive (Kuja) action. Male-energized pursuit of development of tantric secrets: describing the movement of prana from energy state into mass state and back (in perpetual cycle, 8).

  • In randhra-8 = tantric, secret, occult information, the dominant pairing of captains of industry uttama-Kuja-yuti-Rahu suggests that Einstein had a very pro-active and professionalized (Makara) approach to unknowable matters of cosmology (Guru parivartamsha Mangala's Professor Shani ).

  • Vriddhipathi-11 Mangala in bhava-8 spins the earner Vriddhipathi-11 very quickly through the cycle of birth and death, causing some destruction to the income. Native earns much less as a visionary professor and theorist engaged in the fast-turnover world of theory than if he had applied his ideas to industrial business.

Ketu in bhava-2

Ketu-Karkata = Pushya

associated with incoherent speech.

Ketu-2 may speak in a dreamlike or cloudy fashion, in a rather vague representation of one's core values, without much commitment to material enforcement of those beliefs (Ketu).

  • Einstein may have had some interpretive-communicative disability within the Autism Spectrum. Autistic (self-focused) thought is often not felt by those who have it as a disability but rather a perceptual gift.

  • He is reported to have not spoken complete sentences until the age of nine. Initially his parents and schoolmasters thought he was not very bright.

  • what Ketu has to say may be ratherscattered, peculiar and difficult to explain coherently

  • Even in adulthood, Einstein (esp. in later years) was famous for getting lost ...

  • Behari commentary upon Ketu in 2nd pada of Pushya, "You will need to be cautious of bad association..."

"In any nativity, if the lord of the10th house is situated in Mars' Navamsha , the person shall earn a living through metals, serving for fighting, battles, cooking, lands, gold, causing troubles to others, weapons, adventure, association with wicked men, spying, or through theft."

~~ Mantreswara's Phaladeepika

  • Chapter 5, Shloka-4

Career Influence of Kuraja, lord of Nakshatra of Guru:

  • One summer, Albert Einstein did work as a cook at Cal-Tech's university cafeteria, in order to support himself financially while attending a conference.

  • Livelihood through the auspice of Kuja is due to the military funding that generally underwrites scientific research in physics and mathematics.

  • Einstein was an avowed pacifist. Yet his theoretical work (Guru-Shani-Budha) was indeed appropriated (Rahu) to violent causes (nuclear fusion bombs, e.g., Hiroshima). He was also deeply involved in the early armament of the fledgling state of Israel.

  • Military funding which facilitates scientific research within the universities and scholarly institutes may not always be apparent to the researcher, but a bit of detective work will often uncover this persistent archeological fact.

  • when he worked for various think-tanks, Einstein's income as a theoretical physicist could be said to have always been indirectly provided by military interests. He lived in a century of tremendous militarization when most scientific research, in nearly any topic, was connected to military development.

Vriddhipathi-11 empowered uttama military Mangala amplified by Rahu casts a double-strength drishti again into vriddhi bhava-11. Not only gain of income but also gain of social and intellectual goals is much enhanced.

Vriddhipathi-11 from Chandra = visionary nichha-bhanga Budha, Einstein's source of livelihood was mainly via Kuja the monies paid into the university and scholarly institute systems by the military machine, and also the same setup for the seemingly innocuous government patent office and other bureaucratic salaries.

Vriddhipathi-11 from Chandra also has a role in providing income via positioning the native to feel (Chandra) that one needs (Chandra) to do a particular marketplace activity. Therefore both Budha's neutral mentality and Kuja's government oriented dynamic are both producers of income.

nichha-bhanga

Budha in bhava-10

lagnesha Budha = bandesha-4 = classroom-teaching, rhythmic and repeating routines of instruction, reinforcement of social customs protection of the ethnic peoples, sheltering the roots, defending the homeland, seasonal fluctuations such as the"school year"

  • Lagnesha Budha = adult social identity via information production

  • Budha lord of Arudha lagna Kanya = logical argumentation

  • Budha L- 8 and Vriddhipathi-11 from the Vrizchika Chandra

  • Budha yuti yuvatipathi-7 +randhresha-8 Shani; bhratrupathi-3 Surya;

  • Budha yuti L-5+L-12 Shukra. nichha-bhangarules are satisfied via Budha in kendra-10 + Budha yuti uttama-Zukra .

  • Budha = friendly for Mithuna lagna, and particularly in light of nichha-bhanga, the Kumara can be expected to produce exceptional results.

Caution due to Budha's ability to articulate any logical argument, without inhibition to eschew evil values;

  • Budha gives results of companion graha L-3+ yuvatipathi-7 + randhresha-8 , and L-12

  • nichha-bhangaBudha residing in the respect-and-regard 10th bhava may become exceptionally well-known but the nature of the message one brings or the instructions one delivers is very complex due to the lords of 7 bhava in the karmasthana as well as dharmesha-9 Shani parivartamsha karmesha-10 Guru.

  • Budha occupies bhava-10 (the strongest kendra)

  • Budha's lord karmesha-10 Guru-9, becomes very strong through parivartamsha yoga with Shani-10

  • Shani-Zukra (structure-beauty) parivartamsha in navamsha, the spiritual view

Artha Trine = Budha-10 yuti Ketu -2 + Chandra-6

Allows the native to passionately discuss several extremely abstract and dreamlike topics from a public leadership, high-visibility platform (bhava-10).

  • The nichha qualities of nichha-bhanga Budha however don't go away! Rather, the nichha-bhanga native will find a socially-validated application for the otherwise 'dysfunctional' behaviors associated with a nichha graha.

  • These days young Einstein would be called a"spatial learner". Modern elementary school teachers would recognize and accommodate his learning style. Unfortunately, in the late 1800's in Germany, he was caught in a punitive, strictly linear, repetitive-drill school system. He was considered rather witless. His speech was delayed.

  • Yet he blossomed when he discovered physics = a highly spatial subject wherein his incredible imagination (Budha-Meena) could roam the multi-dimensional cosmos. He was not introduced to academic physics until his teens. Presumably his early educational years during Budha mahadasha, age 0 until 9.5, might have been a quite frustrating time for his parents, and his teachers. However the period of the lagnesha is usually quite validating for the native and Einstein's writings report a fairly happy childhood..

  • Expansive Guru-influenced"spacey" Budha was socially received as an icon of brilliant mystical-scientific apprehension. Einstein's "autistic" lack of attention to important social details like attribution (he almost never credited those who helped or inspired him) was largely overlooked.

Guru in bhava-9

Guru in Kumbha

Guru parivartamsha yoga+Shani

lord of Yuvati bhava-7and Karma bhava-10, located in 9th-from lagna and 4th-from Chandra .

Guru rules 2nd and 5th from Vrizchika Chandra lagna.

  • Through the parivartamsha, Brihaspati obtains great strength via dharma-karma adhipati yoga. Kumbha (science) Meena (imagination) houses.

  • = leadership (10) via teacher (Guru) of conceptual science (Kumbha)

Guru = breadth of vision and compassion = universal, philosophical religious sensibility; teacher of conceptual thought.

  • Guru= public association with great wisdom and knowledge

  • Occupants of bhava-10 = vidyapathi-5 uttama-Zukra and dharmesha-9 empowered Shani = contribute powerfully to his public reputation as a musician (uttama-Zukra) who loved creative imagination and pure wisdom (9).

  • But matters of children have been overwhelmed by other concerns. Einstein received rather low marks as a father. This may be a case of karako bhavo nashto, in bhava-9 providing a weakened role model in his own father. His own father had many business troubles. But more importantly, the intensive career graha in 10 are ALSO located in 5th-from-Chandra. uttama-Zukra, lord of maraka 7th and dissolving 12th from Vrizchika Chandra, is positively overwhelmed by the crowding of 3 other graha who must simultaneously support a major public destiny.

  • Children of the second wife = 5th from 2nd = bhava-6; these are the stepdaughters brought into his marriage to his cousin Else, and with nichha Chandra in 6 his great (albeit rather taboo) affection for them.

Drishti

  • no planetary drishti to karmesha-10 Guru

  • no planetary drishti to karma bhava

  • upon 10th-from-Chandra = bhava-3: drishti of Rahu-amplified uttama-Kuja

  • upon 10th-from-Chandra = bhava-3: drishti from karmesha-10 Guru [strong relationship between the material career and the emotional orientation to career.]

Meena-Zukra

Zukra in bhava-10

uttama-amza"Double L-12" = a super-empowered capacity for private, imaginative, meditative union and clandestine (12) relationships

  • from Mithuna lagna, Shukra = lord of

from Vrizchika Chandra lagna, Shukra = lord of yuvatipathi-7 (relationships) and L-12 (privacy, bedroom)

Shukra yuti

  1. Shani rules-7 + randhresha-8 (relationships, overt and covert) = bhratrupathi-3 + bandesha-4 (teaching, writing) from Chandra

  2. Budha lagnesha-1 + bandesha-4 (personality, patriotism) = randhresha-8 + Vriddhipathi-11 (income, covert and overt) from Chandra

  3. Surya bhratrupathi-3 (writing, announcements) from lagna = karmesha-10 (leadership) from Chandra

Shukra accepts no Parashari drishti.

Multiple liaisons = many graha with Shukra

  • When yuvatikaraka Shukra = also the empowered vyaya-pati, the extraordinary reflective and visionary capacity, clairvoyant and clairaudient communion (Zukra) with spirits, and artistic imagination = very much highlighted.

  • Socially however there is less security and more diversity in human-to-human relationships, since one of yuvatikaraka Shukra's behaviors as L-12 = liaison with enemies of the first marriage (12 = 6th from 7) and exalted uttama-amza sensuality (Zukra) within the private bedroom (12) environment.

For a male, Shukra represents the wives. One way to measure the number of female partners in a man's life is to evaluate the number and strength of any graha yuti Shukra, and graha residing in rashi of Shukra. For Einstein, there are no graha in rashi of Shukra.

Three graha = Surya, Budha, and Shani = accompany the daityguru.

  • Budha = siblings and cousins; and Einstein's second wife was indeed his childhood playmate and first cousin.

  • Shani as eighth and ninth lord generally represents a carefully hidden liaison with a professor or priest

  • Surya as third lord generally suggests a team-mate, fellow writer or publisher.

(For a female, Shukra will better represents the social-behavioral attributes of the relationship, while Guru = her first husband while Shani = her additional husbands.)

Uttama vidyapathi-5 + L-12 Shukra = politics (5) and children from L-5; imagination and vision from L-12. Also many journeys to foreign lands, beginning as a young man.

  • Shukra has a beautifying effect on Einstein's communications and appearance (Budha); his collaborative work in professional conferences and through publication of scholarly articles and letter-writing (Surya); and also upon his professorship and career (Shani).

  • uttama-Zukra = an accomplished musician and also a bit of a fashion model. Like most folks with Zukra-yuti-Surya, Einstein was charmingly handsome in his own unique way. His innocently rakish fashion sense captivated the public. He was photographed extensively in later years (Shani for age, influencing Shukra for beauty). His image remains the most recognizable icon for"genius " in the West.

Personal Life

According to ~~ http://www.nndb.com/people/302/000022236/

  • "His private life was somewhat less than immaculate. He fathered at least one child out of wedlock, then married the child's mother, but their daughter was either given up for adoption or died in infancy.

  • During an extended period of ill health from about 1917-20, as he dealt with recurring bouts of jaundice, liver illness, and general weakness, he was nursed by a cousin Elsa who became his mistress. After his first marriage ended in divorce, Elsa became his second wife.

  • Einstein's numerous affairs had infuriated his first wife Mileva Maric , but the second Mrs. Einstein was more permissive.

  • His diaries, published in 1999, reveal that Einstein seriously considered abandoning his mistress and wife-to-be in favor of her 20-year-old daughter, who became his stepdaughter instead.

  • In addition to the missing daughter with his first wife, professor Einstein he had two sons. One became an engineer; the other was institutionalized with schizophrenia and died in captivity."

Marriage

Marriage-1: Mileva Maricwas born in Titel-Vojvodina into a Serbian family. The you ng couple studied together at Swiss Federal Polytechnic Institute in Zurich.

In 1902, they had a daughter previous to wedlock. The daughter was born in Serbia but disappeared, followed by a marriage ceremony in 1903, followed by two sons.

One son became a university professor of hydraulic engineering who wrote several texts definitive in their field. The other son suffered a lifetime of severe mental illness.

Albert Einstein gave his prize-money from the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics to Mileva Maric. Having left the marriage behaviorally some years earlier (his affair with Else began in 1919) he divorced Mileva and married Else.

(nichha-Chandra in bhava-6) Records suggest that he maintained some limited contact with his sons, including his elder son who became a professor.

A second wedding ceremony joined in marriage Albert Einstein and his childhood playmate, first-cousin Elsa Einstein. Her daughters from a previous marriage were raised affectionately by Elsa and Albert.

einstein_maric_wedding.jpg

Albert Einstein and Mileva Maric wedding, Jan-1903 (his Zukra-Rahu period). Albert and Mileva had three children together

Einstein's public marriages follow the pattern of partnership judged from Chandra in bhava-6. His first wife Mileva Maric hailed from a Christian family of Serbia whilst Einstein was raised Jewish in a German-speaking home. 7th-from-Chandra = vyavasthana partner features distant lands and cultures (language, religion, etc). Mileva was also a gifted scientific researcher (12, and kalatra-karaka-Zukra rules 12).

His second wife represented via 2nd-from-Chandra bhava-7 was a cousin and childhood playmate Else Einstein. Guru ruler of yuvatisthana occpies 3rd-from-7 indicating "cohort" which may consist of siblings-cousins-neighbors-schoolmates. By all accounts Einstein's second marriage was protective (7 = 4th-from-4th) and sibling-like. Most importantly Guru provided a permissive marital environment without compromising public dignity due to Guru's parivartamsha with respected Shani-10.

Rahu-8 provides ambition to pursue secret liaisons and hidden knowledge. Indeed, as might be expected from the very powerful lord of navamsha-7 = uttama-Kuja-yuti-Rahu, Einstein was notoriously sexually promiscuous.

His elder son's sixth child, a daughter who was adopted very quickly after her birth, has said that she is the offspring of Papa Einstein and a long term paramour of of the physicist, a ballet dancer. It is a nativity which forecasts many secrets, some explosive and some cleverly camouflaged.

Vrischika-Chandra-6 and a massively super-charged randhrabhava = conceal much activity in Einstein's diversely busy lifetime.

Shani

randhresha-8 and dharmesha-9 from Mithuna lagna

bhratrupathi-3 and bandesha-4 from Vrizchika Chandra

In 5th-from-Chandra.

lord of Kumbha = 10th navamsha

Parivartamsha yogawith Guru gives exchange between the randhresha-8 +dharmesha-9 and the yuvatipathi-7 +randhresha-8 .

  • No incoming drishti.

  • Shani has some extraordinary tenants: Guru, uttama-Kuja, and Rahu.

  • Shani casts drishti upon bhava-12 = foreign lands;

  • upon bhava-4 for his own homeland;

  • upon the first marriage bhava-7.

  • Like all lives defined by Shani/10, it is a life with many regulations, limitations, and strictures.

Raja Yoga : vidyapathi-5 uttama-Zukra AND dharmesha-9 Shani are joined in karma bhava; from bhava-10, this pair casts drishti upon bandhu bhava (Kanya) [Einstein was asked to be the leader of Israel, but he declined.]

  • uttama-Shani in navamsha also obtains parivartamsha yoga with Shukra in D-9. The additional support from navamsha enormously strengthens the randhresha-8 +L9 functions of Shani in radix.

  • bhava-8 becomes the strongest house in the nativity due to strength of Professor Shani and tenancy of uttama-Kuja-yuti-Rahu in bhava-8.

  • Einstein's uttama-Kuja gives significant commercial business acumen + high-risk Rahu in bhava-8 of secret information. He is often portrayed as a ditzy professor who got lost walking around the block. That might have been true in the last years, particuarly after the death of his second wife. But Einstein clearly had the business instincts which accompany the uttama-Kuja.

  • Radix parivartamsha yoga of yuvatipathi-7 +karmesha-10 Guru + randhresha-8 +dharmesha-9 Shani = A broad base of advice-giving professional partnerships (7) and dignified public positions (10) supports the exchange of secret or confidential information (8) while ensuring reasonably sold religious and ethical awareness (9).

  • randhresha-8 +dharmesha-9 Shani = Lord of dazamamza-10 = randhresha-8 +dharmesha-9 Shani parivartamsha + yuvatipathi-7 +karmesha-10 karmapathi Guru. Shani's tenants include uttama-Kuja, an unfailing indicator of success in one's work, and Kuja is yuti Rahu indicating a revolutionary or boundary-breaking line of work, associated with transformation or catastrophic change.

Shani owns most of the real-estate in the nativity.

Einstein enjoyed a lifelong engagement with large rule-bound systems

The miracle of Einstein's nativity is not that he was able to access some basic tantric information about matter-energy dynamics. These occult"secrets " have long been known in the mystical lineages.

The amazing genius was Einstein's ability to be in the right place at the right time (Guru-9 parivartamsha Shani-10) and to be empowered to"explain" (Budha) to thoseless visionary with his tremendous tolerance (Guru) for the common materialistic ("scientific") mind.

  • He expressed the bhava-8"secret" information in a common, accessible language perfectly targeted to the developmental needs of the greater civilization at that time. The ability to package a great truth in a broadly accessible format is a gift of convention-respecting, protocol-abiding, public-knowledge Shani.

Rahu in bhava-8= Ketu in bhava-2

  • Ambivalence (Ketu) toward the family history , toward face and eyes, toward speech and song, toward gathered knowledge and banked wealth collections.

  • Desire for recognition and entitlements (Rahu) as a holder of mysterious or confidential information; passion for clandestine liaison; craving to be acknowledged as an important figure in times of crisis;

a healer and a knower of secrets

bhava-8 Makara, lord = Shani, Rahu yuti uttama-amza Mangala.

Rahu = strongest amplification to Mangala, next to the parivartamsha-amplified Shani. Rahu is an exceptional destructive graha associated with secrets of every variety, massive upheaval caused by mysterious hidden forces, and breaking of taboo including the knowledge taboo and the death taboo.

uttama-Kuja amplified by Rahu shows a highly exaggerated social image for his work, for good and for evil. Rahu gives association with catastrophe (Einstein as WWII refugee, nuclear war) and outsiders (Zionism, US civil rights) .

Villainized = Rahu

  • At times in Einstein's career, his work was controversial. He was accused of appropriating other's ideas when he was, in all probability, clarifying and better formulating concepts that were partially developed by others.

  • He was villainized by the Nazi regime as a perpetrator of"Jewish physics " which was propagandized as an anti-Aryan intellectual disease. His politics were also highly controversial, including passionate Zionism, pacifism, and his involvement in the US Civil Rights movement. Rahu magnifies whatever it touches!

Sanctified = Rahu

  • At times, Einstein was probably over-praised. This is also roller-coaster Rahu. Due to his physical attractiveness (uttama-Zukra + Surya) and charm (nichha-bhanga Budha), Einstein was cast as a public icon representing the"genius mystery-revealer". In reality, he was a participant in a broad scientific movement to re-conceptualize modern physics.

  • Many of the ideas he articulated had been long-incubated in the international think-tank composed of dozens of highly committed theoretical physicists. In the terrible stress of the war and the confusion of world reorganization afterward, Einstein's persona was projected into a desperately needed symbol of brilliant problem-solving grounded in both spiritual intuition and pure reason.

Ketu in bhava-2 = Rahu in bhava-8

  • Ketu-Karkata = bhava-2, 9th-from-Chandra, Ketu's lord = Chandra.

  • Ketu in the house of death (2) and the second marriage, amplifies the highly inauspicious nichha Chandra.

  • peculiar, eccentric scattered focus in 2nd marriage

Karakamsha *

Kumbha/9 = wisdom teachings = science and religion = cultural paradigms = philosophical-conceptual science

Karmaa Bhava 10th-from-radix-lagna

karmesha-10 and Aspects to karmesha-10 - leadership roles and responsibilities

Karma Bhava contains:

  • L-1+bandesha-4 Budha (personality and homeland);

  • L-5+L-12 uttama-Zukra (creativity and imagination, foreign lands);

  • randhresha-8 +dharmesha-9 Shani (secret knowledge and moral wisdom);

  • bhratrupathi-3 Surya (writing, group communications).

Even without the parivartamsha of yuvatipathi-7 +karmesha-10 Guru with the randhresha-8 +dharmesha-9 Shani, this is a huge amount of psychic energy loaded into the house of public recognition and leaderships service. karmesha-10 = the Devapati, while Guru's navamsha lord is the exalted Kuja, see details above

bhava-10 = public visibility = strong and busy, containing L-1+ L-3+ L-4+ L-5+ randhresha-8 + dharmesha-9 , and L-12:

The lords of seven houses combine to powerfully project Einstein's personality onto the public consciousness, creating a formidable career in the field of structured visionary thinking.

Einstein was a"whole brain" thinker who enjoyed equal and complementary portions of rational articulation and intuitive insight. As such he provided the leading role model for post-positivistic"new age" integrated intuitive-rational thought.

yuvatipathi-7 +karmesha-10 Guru occupies the auspicious dharma bhava. Guru enjoys an enormously strengthening Parivartamsha with his neutral companion randhresha-8 +dharmesha-9 Shani. When dharmesha-9 has parivartamsha with karmesha-10 we might expect a religious and political authority.

Einstein's scientific theories and his political beliefs were widely followed. His scholarly views not only gained almost complete hegemony in the academic world, but also his political views gained wide credence.

Einstein was invited to become the second leader of modern Israel. (He declined).

dazamamza-10 - D-10 varga for career

Einstein's time of birth is somewhat generalized -- but it is reasonable in retrospect to interpret Shani as the putative lord of D-10.

Shani is a sober, slow, and structured graha who will give comfortable and pleasing results as ruler of the dashamamsha, evoking the contents of Shani's owned houses both from Radix (randhresha-8 +dharmesha-9 ) and from Chandra (bhratrupathi-3 [publications] and bandesha-4 [patriotism/homeland, esp. his relationship to Israel.]

Several of the graha in D-10 are distinctively strong, including the career-influential bhratrupathi-3 Surya who occupies Vrizchika Dashamamsha, and swakshetra Guru (a major career graha in D-1) who is in dashamamsha also lord of disruptive, controlled-explosion Rahu.

Guru-Rahu in dashamamsha confirms and expands the Kuja-Rahu connection in radix:

Einstein's public notoriety comes much less from his paradigm-breaking conceptual science and much more from his work on the development of nuclear weapons.

10th-from- Chandra - psycho-emotional true service = Surya = publications, writing

10th-from-Chandra = bhratrupathi-3 Surya = group communications, writing, short-term business travel, publications. Surya is very strong in Meena and in bhava-10.

Surya = bhratrupathi-3 and Lord of 10th-from-Chandra , in the strongest Kendra and in the rashi of friend Guru. highly benevolent

for publications which promote the mental narrative. the native becomes extremely well known through his ability to publish his thoughts in written documents.

10th-from- Chandra = Simha.

bhratrupathi-3 Surya = first and foremost, ego-membrane identification.

At the level of material expression, bhava-3 = writing, conference presentations, small networks of sibling-like associations, teamwork, and small-group collaboration. Einstein's emotional call to service was first and foremost as a communicator. His true service was as a writer. Writing by hand, bhava-3 (for both published journal articles and interpersonal letter-writing) was the strongest media vehicle for the dissemination of ideas in his era.

Einstein's writings communicated not only his independent thought (if there is, at high levels of intellectual inquiry, any such thing as independent thought!) but also the results of collaborative (bhava-3)inquiry Amongst the international scientific theorists of his day.

Einstein's constant communication through writings and verbal presentations at scientific conferences is also represented by the prominent career marker L-1+bandesha-4 nichha-Budha in radix-10 This is the type of confirmation we like to see in a Jyotisha chart: several leading indicators pointed at the same target!

Einstein was possessed of the mental skills and the communicative acumen to move a new cosmological paradigm into public consciousness. This movement of the Zeitgeist of the incipient new age into the public mind, is how Lord-of-10th-from-Chandra - bhratrupathi-3 Surya- manifests Einstein's true service: small-group communication.

Because 10th-from-Chandra = Surya's house, Einstein was blessed with a psycho-emotional drive to express himself in a subject area and style which was also publicly recognized (Surya).

Unlike obscure scholars who may live and die as unrecognized, socially isolated geniuses, Einstein benefited socially from a lovely Sun-10th-from-Moon yoga that brought his role as "agent of the Zeitgeist" into the public eye.

Einstein enjoyed the ego-confirmation of consciously participating in broad, visionary social and intellectual movements: the essence of Surya/Meena, in 10. This is a great set-up.

Arudhaof Karma Bhava -"Karmaa Pada"

public imagery or associations = Rahu-amplified uttama-Kuja in randhra bhava (mystery and magic)

  • Einstein's published work is understood by historians of science to be a cumulative expression of numerous minds doing advanced research in theoretical physics during Einstein's era.

  • However, in popular imagination, Einstein is known as the Mysterious Shaman (8) on the cover of TIME magazine, who single-handedly transformed western understanding of the core structure of physical reality.

  • the public illusion - Arudha - ignores several preceding decades of scientific experimentation and discussion. It perceives only an act of pure magic -- if Mr. Albert suddenly pulled a rabbit from a hat!

  • Karma Pada is powerful in this nativity.

Arudhaof Karma Bhava -"Karmaa Pada" randhasthana = public imagery or associations = uttama-Kuja-yuti-Rahu in bhava-8.

  • karmesha-10 Guru occupies bhava-9 = 12th-from-10th

  • Arudha of bhava-10 = 12th-from Guru = uttama-Kuja = bhava-8 .

Arudha of Karma Bhava = bhava-5 =Thula, ruled by the uttama-amza super-visible Shukra in 10

  • Arudha of Karma Bhava shows the public perception of one's leadership dignity, ability to uphold and reinforce the cultural norms of one's people, and the perceived value of one's contribution to society.

  • Lord = uttama-Zukra in bhava-10. Shukra shares super-high social valuation with Shani, the nichha-bhanga Budha+ bhratrupathi-3 Surya, and also by parivartamsha with the karmesha-10 Guru.

  • Naturally the public image is extremely famous.

  • (The public image may be accurate or it may be a delusion, the arudha of bhava-10 is not an assessment of measurable social value but only a reading of the public's notoriously fickle perceptions of the native 's glamour and/or authentic social importance.)

Primary career indicators

  1. karmesha-10 navamsha = Guru = wisdom-teaching, preacher, professor, priest

  2. Guru occupies a navamsha of Kuja (Dhaniztha ); therefore some association with rapid forward movement, dancing, military, weapons and competition

  3. Kuja = uttama = super competitive; Kuja-yuti-Rahu = disruptive, and destroy-rebirth in 8

Shani + Budha + Shukra + Surya in 10

  • High levels of public recognition through sustained, structured service (Shani)

  • as a knowledge transmitter (Guru) within the large organizations:

  • national governments (Shani-Budha)

  • universities and priestly-professorial scientific research groups (Guru-Shani)

  • extremely influential parivartamsha Guru-Shani = world renown.

Yuvati bhava = Arudha lagna = 10th-from-10th - day-to-day interactions, marriage, daily reality = Guru

Although yuvati bhava itself is an empty bhava+ yuvatipathi-7 +karmesha-10 Guru is vigorously active in career through parivartamsha yoga of yuvatipathi-7 +karmesha-10 Guru with dharmesha-9 +karmesha-10 Shani.

yuvatipathi-7 Guru in bhava-9, a house of Advanced intellectual scholarship , shows that most of Einstein's peer relationships were based in the world of international knowledge-temples: the universities and research centers.

Guru's nature in Kumbha is detached, scientifically objective, and very conceptual. Not an emotionally warm position for Guru but on the positive side friendly and energized to form a good network of like-minded associates.

Yuvati bhava (10th-from-10th) = unoccupied yuvatipathi-7 Guru = great auspice through the parivartamsha

Material conditions affecting marriage

yuvatipathi-7 Brihaspati frames the social and material conditions of the first marriage .

Guru in the professorial-priestly bhava-9, governing temples of wisdom, indicates that the primary orientation of marriage is development and transmission of philosophical thought.

The first marriage union produced three children and - possibly also - Einstein's most seminal, career-defining papers on on Brownian motion, the photoelectric effect, and special relativity.

Marriage in particular is affected by Ketu in navamsha-7, which represents both emotional distancing on the part of the spouse, and also a detailed, mapping style of intuitive perception in conceptual mathematics. Such a perception might be called"intuitive computation" - the ability to account for a massive amount of detail in a single timless perception.

Ketu in the D-9's marriage house indicates emotional and cultural distance, often a"culture gap". With Ketu, the partners can see each other socio-physically but never fully connect psycho-emotionally.

Einstein's most intimate first marriage partnership reflected the structure of all of his cooperative relationships. It was characterized by a certain permanent emotional distance combined with intense abstraction (Ketu).

L-2 nichha Chandra frames the second marriage.

Ketu also occupies the 2nd rashi, showing a"knowledge disjunct" between the two partners in the 2nd marriage as well. Regarding Ketu's signification for money, the big money was gone after the first marriage. (Albert's Nobel Prize award had been given to his first wife as a divorce settlement+ L-2 Chandra in bhava-6 of divorce from 1st marriage).

But also the second wife was not an intellectual and she was not concerned, in her karmic role as the second wife, with helping to develop Einstein's perceptual framework. She contributed dignity and stability which allowed him to continue on conceptually by himself.

Chandra of course represents the mother, and Chandra is badly fallen in bhava-6, the house of the loss of marriage agreement. The mother is implicated in two ways. First of all, the mother disliked his first wife as a cultural inferior, and most likely militated for Albert's divorce.

Secondly, Albert's next marriage was consummated with his cousin (the child of his mother's sister). The relationship with his cousin who would eventually become his second wife had been initiated seven years before Albert's divorce from his first wife, and two years even before the official separation. Chandra, representing a distressed and alienated mother, is certainly an agent of the dissolution of marriage when Soma is nichha and in Ripu Bhava, the house of enemies.

L-2 Chandra also occupies 5th-from-2nd , suggesting an intensely involved but volatile emotional bond between Albert and his stepdaughters from his second marriage.

first marriage

uttama-Zukra

Atmakaraka uttama-Zukra = L-5+L-12

ruler of navamsha-7 Mangala

Behari says of Shukra/Meena/10:

"You are dedicated to a cause which is impersonal and which requires the relinquishment of personal comforts. You will not be drawn to sensual pleasures, but will be motivated by the desire to bring to blessings to humanity."

The nature of Einstein's day-to-day relationships is mirrored in his first marriage to a gifted female mathematician and physicist, Mileva Marich.

For all men, the first wife karaka = Shukra. For Albert Einstein, Shukra is a complex and influential graha. (Note Shukra's strength in Shad Bala.)

Academic research into the nature of Einstein's first marriage is contradictory, and unfortunately laden with sexist presumption that Einstein's wife was necessarily a limited intellectual and communicative influence upon his celebrated early career. However, the qualities of uttama-Zukra within Einstein's Jyotisha nativity would suggest otherwise.

Shukra occupies kendra-10 and 5th-from-Chandra, two highly positive locations regarding career. And Shukra's influence is ultimately what makes possible the extraordinary nichha-bhanga received by Budha.

It looks from Einstein's Jyotisha nativity as if his first wife Mileva was an exceptionally positive and career-advancing influence upon him and further that her role was predominantly as a shaper and formulator of his mind at the most basic visionary level - i.e., that she was his Muse, and she essentially gave or evoked from him the fundamental cosmic framework which made his work internationally famous.

As the uttama Atmakaraka L-5, Shukra evokes the divine intelligence and exalted speculative gamesmanship. In the uttama Atmakaraka L-12 role. Shukra is internationalizing, and the daityaguru will evoke a the dream-like artistic imagination, which reveals subtle psychic connections between things which may not be detectable via the narrower rational intelligence.

Shukra in Einstein's nativity suggests a dominantly intuitive quality of the creative perceptual intelligence which was powerfully expressed through the personality of the first wife. No wonder Einstein's Nobel Prize money was given directly to Mileva.

Emotional bond: Shukra vis--vis Chandra:

The first marriage emotional profile is not so beneficial.

  • Shukra rules Thula 12th-from-Vrischika-Chandra = emotional erosion, distant lands

  • dissolution (12) of emotional identity (Chandra) with the first spouse and also with the children from the first marriage = Shukra putrapathi-5.

  • Also Shukra rules 7th-from-Chandra indicates the emotional liaison within the marriage * suggesting that there was, at least initially, a strong emotional bond between equals .

Shukra in 5th-from-Chandra indicates dramatic outcome regarding children.

vidyapathi-5 Shukra + dharmesha-9 Shani brings children; Mileva was the mother of three children with Albert Einstein.

Complexities of the children including death or loss of the first child born out of wedlock Lisserl and schizophrenia in the third child Eduard are shown through the extremely complex interplay of the vidyapathi-5 Shukra - dharmesha-9 Shani with the L-1+ L-3+ L-4+ yuvatipathi-7 + randhresha-8 + karmesha-10 , and L-12.

Einstein abandoned his own children with Mileva (bhava-5 = 12th-from-nichha Chandra) but accepted parenting responsibility for the children of his second wife (Chandra in bhava-6, 5th-from-2nd-marriage).

marriage-2= Shani

  • (see also comments on L-2 Chandra and Kuja, above)

L-2 Chandra occupies Ari bhava-6 in Jyeztha = illness of the second contractual mate.

For a male nativity, the second (and subsequent) wives are indicated by graha which are associated with Shukra. The first step of analysis for multiple marriages should assess the degree-ordering of any graha yuti Shukra.

Shukra = Atmakaraka, followed in degree order by Shani, then Budha, then Surya. Naturally all of the graha sharing a bhava with Shukra and dominated in degree by Shukra will interact, but the leader of the second-marriage indicators by degree order, would be Shani.

Shani = elder, sober, pragmatic. 2nd wife = more traditional in behavior and more protectively structured in lifestyle than the first wife perhaps, but Shukra's influence as atmakaraka suggests that all female mates, whether married or not, are quite beautiful.

Shani = dominated by the lovely artistic uttama-Zukra, and Shani also provides the results of lower-degree Meena graha: youthful, sibling-like Budha and bhratrupathi-3 sibling Surya. 2nd-mate r= conversational rather than inspirational. Cf. mate of 1st union which for all its stress would have been extremely inspired due to atmakaraka Zukra vidyapathi-5 creativity.

2nd spouse = conforms to the social norms = Shani . Since A. Einstein's second wife was the child of Albert's mother's sister, their external social manners (Shani, public behavior) were likely very similar.

bhratrupathi-3 effects:

randhresha-8 +dharmesha-9 Shani = professional recognition in karma bhava-10 yuti bhratrupathi-3 Surya. Einstein's second wife was also his first cousin and childhood playmate, Elsa Einstein (bhratrupathi-3 cousins.)

also consider 2nd-from-Zukra and 2nd-from-Chandra.

Behari commentary upon Shani/Meena/10:

  • "Even Saturn is radically transformed under the influence of Pisces: it makes you a great philanthropist, but you suffer from some canker in your heart, arising from an unknown or mysterious cause."

Sadly, 2nd wife died a very painful death, from an undiagnosed heart and kidney ailment. 8th-from-2nd-from-Chandra= Ketu incoherence, unclarity due to swirling dust.

Emotional bond: Shani vis--vis Chandra:

L-3+bandesha-4 from Chandra lagna, Shani gives sibling-level familiarity and collaboration, and a shared home culture.

A friendly, conversational, and secure emotional relationship, emphasis much less on passion and much more on stability in the home.

Vimshottari Dasha

Chandra/Mangala period: July 1922 until Jan 1923

Viparita Raja Yoga(Harsha Yoga) = rogesha-6 Mangala with Rahu occupies bhava-8,

July 1922 = Einstein entered Chandra/Mangala period. uttama-Kuja-yuti-Rahu in bhava-8. In Dec-1922, Einstein won the Nobel Prize for Physics, certainly a great honor and consistent with the uttama lord of vriddhibhava-11 = goals. (Top Ph.D.'s agree that after finishing the doctorate and perhaps starting a family, there is only one big goal remaining: to win the Nobel Prize.)

Mangala rules Chandra; thus this particular bhukti is surging with competitive, dominating, yet orderly and social-status climbing (Makara) superlative dynamic energy.

However Mangala rules 6th-from-Chandra = emotional conflict of divorce. And Mangala occupies randhrabhava-8= spousal assets. During the Chandra-Mangala period, Einstein gave his entire prize money (a substantial earning) to his ex-wife. He did not retain even one kroner.

Considering that he had abandoned his wife to raise two sons alone, with one of those sons schizophrenic and in need of constant medical care, nevertheless the sudden payment of all expected monies must have been experienced as some considerable financial imbalance-seeking-a-remedy (6 = poverty)

Zukra-Rahu period = Einstein's "annus mirabilis " 1905.

Shukra = vidyapathi-5 literary genius. In 1905, Einstein published four short, seminal papers that catapulted him from the obscurity of a Swiss patent office into international scientific fame.

Zukra-Guru started in Nov-1905.

Beginning of international recognition and respect.

Guru karmesha-10 parivartamsha Shani = a remarkable combination of governance hierarchies (10) and university scientific achievement (Guru-Kumbha)

Rahu-Chandra = Death

  • 18 April 1955 * maraka L-2 Chandra.

  • Chandra rules Ketu

  • Einstein died without benefit of last rites nor even any human company, in a hospital room in New Jersey.

300 Combinations 1912-1998 Jyotishi BV Raman

11. Vanchana Chora Bheethi Yoga

"Definition:

  • The Lagna is occupied by a malefic with Gulika in a trine

  • or Gulika is associated with the lords of Kendras and Thrikonas

  • Or the Lord of Lagna is combined with Rahu, Saturn or Kethu.

Results:

the native will always entertain feelings of suspicion towards others around him. Here three sets of combinations can apply:

  • Gulika should be associated with the lords of 1, 4, 7, 10, 5 and 9.

  • Lord of Lagna should join Rahu or Saturn or Kethu.

In all these cases, the person will not only have fears from cheats, rogues and thievesbut he will also have huge material losses.

The combinations pertaining to this Yoga are found in almost all horoscopes, so that we are all guilty of cheating and being cheatedone another in some form or the other.

It is a tragedy of our social life that a merchant minting millions at the cost of the poor is left scot-free while the poor, committing theft in the face of poverty and want, are booked by law.

Cheating is practiced in a variety of ways. Fertile brains find countless methods to cheat their associates . The merchants have various ways of cheating their clients. The lawyer is equally successful. The medical man commands many ways

Gulika is considered the son of Saturn and his position is to be carefully fixed in the Zodiac. The Yoga given above refers to persons who will be the victims of fraud but the same combination can also be extended to apply to those who perpetrate the deeds.
