How to ask the flesh-body whether it is beneficial to interact with something (food, another person, beliefs)
Thanks a lot for taking time out from your busy schedule, Appreciate your guidance and again eternally thankful.
Got delivery of Bepin Behari's book "Fundamentals of Vedic Astrology".
It occurs to me that energy plays a great role in our day to day lives, spiritualism, religion etc. Energy in our body is channelised through Chakras, while we meditate we are guided to sit on a warm blanket thereby ensuring that energy flowing upward from muladhara chakra is pulled back by earths gravitational pull. Interstellar movie talks about is escaping/ using energy for inter stellar travel. The power/nature of planets is governed by their respective energy levels. Earths gravitational pull being one of the strongest source of energy, is not factored. so the ultimate realisation/purpose of life has something to do with energy. Would you be able to guide on this subject.
Thanks for your nice note. Please accept my encouragement to continue reading and learning for increasing mastery of Jyotisha vidya.
Regarding gravitational "pull" It might be useful to set that idea aside. Gravity is a wave force. Gravity doesn't pull from inside a graha; gravity broadcasts, or pushes outward, from the center (of a system, of a universe, of a galaxy). Indeed each graha-upagraha has a distinctive energy signature and so does every entity from subatomic particle to multiverse. However our beloved Earth does have a matching-attracting core which attracts human bodies since we are made entirely of Earth particles.
The matching-energy meditations which direct one to ground the fleshbody root (mula) into Mother Earth's core (mula) are often very stabilizing and healing just as a child feels calmed and protected when touching its mother. Perhaps the most important energy for purpose of awakening the Jyotisha intuition is the tiny pinecone-shaped Arka (send-receive radio transmitter) which resides in the corpus callosum (cave of brahma) called pineal gland. Most of your questions can be answered using this radio, but the pineal gland must be activated by attention and practice.
Wishing you every happiness, healing from sorrow, guidance by inner light, success in all of life's endeavors, and continuing engagement in your study of the samayavidya,
Q: Thanks for your reading and positive suggestions about developing my Jewish female healers capabilities.
As you know I've been involved in healing for many years as a licensed psychotherapist, drug recovery counselor, and for the last ten years, counseling Buddhist meditation students.
My question has to do with exhaustion. I'm mid-way through my sixth decade of life, and it's OK with me to slow down a little. I've had a very busy life, but I realize that I've felt driven most of the time by fear of criticism and deep down fear of failure.
Most of my professional - healing - work leaves me seriously exhausted. I help people mainly because I feel guilty about not helping them - given my high levels of therapeutic expertise (I was also a clinical professor for many years) it seems immoral not to help people in need even when I am exhausted.Anyway I am, I realize, just utterly exhausted. I feel criticized and inadequate around the men in my life (husband, father, brother, rabbi, meditation teacher, male psychologists in my town).
I'd like to get started on some of the Holocaust Healing work that you suggested, and considering all the suicides and fear patterns running through my family I *know* you are right and I believe I *should* join some of the healing groups going to meditate in the German-Polish death camps, as well as get involved with some of the more enlightened Jewish healers I've heard speak on this hideous subject.
But Barbara I just feel too tired. Can you tell me about the tiredness? Is this a psychic thing or am I just being selfish again and not doing something that I really should do, for myself and my community?
A: You have such pure ethical energy; it's beautiful to see.
I'm delighted that you are interested in and have contact with healers working within your ethno-religious tradition. As 14th Dalai Lama 1935- Policy of Kindness Tenzing Gyatso often says, it is much better to work within the religious tradition of one's upbringing, if at all possible, because the incarnational choice to be born within a living tradition and paradigm of belief is intentional and usually a healthy part of the overall life plan.
H.H. does allow that people do sometimes need to switch traditions for karmic reasons, but he has mentioned numerous times how much simpler and more straightforward it is to not have to integrate a whole new set of cultural beliefs when the fleshbody and has been attuned to customary paradigm since birth.
So, I'm delighted that you as a truly gifted healer can make a profound healing connection to others working within the paradigm of belief that is grounded into your birth tradition.
Physical energy, vitality, and exhaustion is *extremely* important.
First, please visit a medical doctor - naturopathic is best - and factor out any physical imbalance that could be causing the heaviness and despair. Even psychics have to go to the doctor.
Second, take the advice of the qualified medical doctor. Anything the reputable physician says to do in terms of diet, rest, medications, whatever they propose, should be followed. Don't substitute psychic information for physical information; rather, look for alignment patterns between these two fields of perception. (However if the physician prescribes questionable surgeries or toxic chemicals, stick to naturopathy or Ayurvedic tradition, and get several medical opinions!)
Always ask your body.
When the Sun-Saturn connection is strong the person (you) has a strong tendency to rationalize, accept far too much responsibility, and substitute works for faith.
This custom is enforced by the culture of the father. especially for an educated female it is necessary to reclaim permission to check in with the body.
The fleshbody has its own voice and intelligence. The fleshbody will be able to report whether it feels enthusiastic and energetic toward a certain activity, or whether its reserves are too low to enjoy and profit from a potential experience.
Note from BPL:
A group of concerned readers, who lost family members in the terrible violence of the World-War-2 Nazi-built death camps in occupied Poland, have written to request a clarification to a term used in the letter above.
The letter above mentions "German-Polish death camps " in the context of a Jewish woman's healing meditation journey to the Nazi slave factories and extermination camps where many in her family were tortured and murdered. These camps were built b y the Nazi government during the German administration of Poland 1939-1945.
The term "German-Polish death camps " is controversial and although it is used in the letter above above to describe a journey of healing forgiveness, the readers' concerns (below) merit recognition.
The pain which remains from the massive and profound violation of physical bodies, ethnic bodies, and astral bodies is still aching for many. From a psychic perspective, the pain of family history and national history is 'psychic body pain' . Psychic body pain passes from one generation to the next, indefinitely, via anger and guilt, until it can be recognized and released in a ritual of healing forgiveness.
In compassionate regard for the ongoing suffering, grief and trauma of the Poles and those 11 million Christians, Jews, Roma, homosexuals, disabled, addicted, impoverished, political prisoners, and other targeted groups who were entrapped, exploited, tortured, and exterminated in the Nazi death camps, the notes of concerned readers are here posted. (Below, in healing pink.)
Knowing that to forgive does not mean to forget,
Barbara Pijan (Pijanowski) Lama
"I understand that you provide a healing and awareness service and that history takes a back role to the relationships that you build.
For accuracy's sake, however, and to not offend the many Poles, particularly of the new generations, who grieve at such misleading information and how it might get interpreted, please remove the word 'Polish' from this statement or describe it as a 'death camp created in German-occupied Poland'.
"... I had family in the camps.
What we are trying to do is educate the populace about the camps and who built and ran them.... who's camps they were. ... A note that is was written to you with a correction would be a great change.
A note that is was written to you with a correction would be a great change.
"Indeed, there were members of my family who were camp victims, and all my relatives were victimized during the German occupation.
I appreciate your explanation of the context, but please don't sustain the fallacy be repeating it. Perhaps a clarification would be useful for your readers who are not well-versed in history.
Best wishes "

Talk to the Body
Read One's Own Body - like watching a short video
Your body can communicate with you in a very simple and direct, kindergarten way:
Always ask your body before undertaking any project or commitment, especially one as profound as a healing journey to a site of terrible trauma where you will be handling the grief of countless restless souls.
You may have to approach the issue of permission to ask the body from a mentalistic point of view at first. But even if initially you must make the meditative discipline of asking your body for an energy reading into a bit of a rational regime, remember that female health depends on asking the body.
It is true that we all, western men and women, live in a rationalistic culture where male values dominate. Psychic healers much counterbalance excessive rational analysis by consciously and proactively developing body intuition.
The body will provide a simple, clear, reliable feedback that can help you make almost any decision from whether to go grocery shopping to whether to run for public office.
Ask your body.
THE PRESENT MOMENT IS OUR ALLY
Taking the Leap, page 50
"We might ask, Given my present situation, how long should I stay with uncomfortable feelings?
We simply get accustomed to coming back to the present just as it is for a second, for a minute, for an hour -- whatever is currently natural -- without its becoming an endurance trial.
This is a good use of our life. Indeed, it is an excellent, joyful use of our life.
Instead of getting better and better at avoiding, we can learn to accept the present moment as if we had invited it, and work with it instead of against it, making it our ally rather than our enemy."
"And now my friends,
all that is true, all that is noble,
all that is just and pure,
all that is loveable and gracious,
whatever is excellent and admirable -
fill all your thoughts with these things."
